Inside story of my campus

One of the good aspects of this college is its location. This college has a good placement track record but its placement in civil or mechanical is not so good. The admission process is very simple, we have to apply for JEE MAINS and apply for Jamia admission on the Jamia website. we all know about MAINS dates and Jamia admission form filling starts in February. The admission process starts after the result is declared by JEE MAINS. The college release list of students for the admission process in the month of June-July and in that list they provide data and documents required for admission. I prefer this college because it has a good placement record for the electrical department and being Muslim this college provides me a platform for prayer also.

Actually, I was good in the electrical portion when I was preparing for JEE. so, I preferred ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING but anyone can prefer CS or ELECTRONICS department also. I would not recommend anyone for MECHANICAL or CIVIL. Faculties are highly qualified, some of them had completed their Masters from some foreign colleges and some of them had completed their Masters from some IITs. The faculty of this college is awesome but few of them didn't do their work honestly, they have enough knowledge but they didn't teach honestly. The ratio of this type of professor is very small. Generally, Every professor does their work honestly. As every college has separate examination department, this college also follows the same way and this department issue examination calendar and this department take examination according to the issued calendar and the difficulty is not so tough. Anyone can score more than 9.0 CGPA if he/she studies in class hours actively.

In 8th sem Students become eligible for campus placements. So many big and small companies visit to offer placement to students. some of them are MICROSOFT, GOOGLE, WIPRO, HCL, etc. The highest package offered is 41 lacks per annum. The highest package is given by google. Every department of B.Tech has a different average package. The average package of CS is nearly 12-15 lacks per annum, for Electronics it is nearly the same as CS but slightly small 10-13 lacks per annum, for electrical it is nearly 5-12 lacks per annum.

The Fee structure of this college is Awesome! This college charge only 14000 approx. for a year. I personally believe that this charge is small enough that anyone can afford but there is so many Scholarship provided by private and governments platforms. One of the websites is NSP where anyone can apply for a scholarship with some terms and conditions.

Every department has its separate library in which you can get every book related to that department. You can study those in the library or you can take them on your ID for few days. One thing which is very interesting to know that they even charge a very low fine in the late return of the book. There is one Central library also which is inside gate no.16. Classrooms are also very well maintained, neat and clean. Classrooms are with full facilities like proper Benches, Lecture Desks, Fans, A.C and in some classrooms have digital systems installed. The stadium of the campus namely Late MANSOOR ALI KHAN PATAUDI (Former Indian cricket team captain) has cricket, Basketball, Football, Hockey, Volleyball and so many other outdoor and indoor ground. So many social groups are working inside the campus one of them is the TRS group which I had also joined. It is a group that is managed by college students inside the campus. This group provide different types skill gaining courses like Coding

You have to be soo lucky to get a hostel in this college because this college has a very low number of accommodation available. Hostel fee is very low in comparison to a room outside campus or PG. Hostel fee is 7000 per year but if you rent a flat with some friends then you have to pay atleast 1500 per month and for PG 3500 per month. I don't know much about the meal quality of the hostel but it is good in both respect 1) it's cost and 2) quality as some of my friends told me. The registration process begins with the forum which we have to fill on jmi website and then they call for viva but it is just a formality.They only provide hostel to only those who have some contacts inside the campus. one thing which I can't forget is college canteen food. Now, the second thing is to rent a room. Anyone can search for rooms in shaheen bagh and batla house, these two places are close to campus. You can get so many brokers in both the place for a room or flat or whatever you want.
