Manipal University Jaipur - A Dream Come True?

The University campus is quite good, rather one of the best. The environment makes it much attractive to study there. The facilities here are also very supportive and cool. The admission process was quite smooth but could have been better. I don't know how they are coping with admissions in this pandemic but probably they might have choked out a plan. This college was preferred because as said, the environment. I referred to many blogs including collegedunia also.

I chose this course as I was interested in computer and stuff from the beginning only. Rather now I feel that this course offers much more than expected and benefits you from every other aspect. The faculty student ratio is average. In our section, we have 60 students each. This is normal for any software branch I guess. Most of the faculties here have done PhDs and have deep knowledge in what they teach. For each semester there are two midterms and one final exam. The difficulty level of those papers is average to difficult. Teachers will most often teach the concept that they give in the exam.

The campus provides good summer internship opportunities after the 4th semester. You should go and grab the best possible company, of course, you'll need some skills and knowledge for same. Try doing basic coding in your first second year and develop confidence in whatever you learnt.

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 6th semester. Many companies have visited the campus including Dell, Microsoft, Amazon, Mindtree, Accenture, etc. The placements here are quite good. The highest package last year was 47 Lakhs, hired by Amazon. My plan is to get a decent job first and get professional experience.

The college fees Rs 2,80,000 per year for BTech Course. For others, I am not sure. The hostel fees per year will cost you around Rs 2,00,000 including mess fees (Rs 62,000). I didn't get any scholarship, but if you are extraordinary and smart to apply to the required scholarship, you can get one. There are many to choose from such as TMA Pai Scholarship etc. Local residents are more benefitted.

There are many fests organised by different clubs around the year. The main annual event is "Onerios". The event is one of a kind and students go crazy in those 2-3 days of the festival. Personalities like Jubin Nautiyal came in the year 2019. You will surely live the best days of college in those times. Any kind of books suggested by faculties is available in the library. The classrooms are also quite luxurious. There are projectors, screens, blackboard, punch board and good quality tables and chairs. Every class is centrally air conditioned. The campus has courts and fields for almost all major sports. There are many clubs like Cinefilia ( Drama Club), ACM ( Technical CSE Club), TMC ( Music Club) etc. There is a club for everything you think.

The hostel is also one of the best in the country. With all facilities for extra curriculum activities, swimming pool, jacuzzi, good quality mess food etc. I was quite impressed. The nature of staff and security are also too good. The registration process is also quite easy. Any student himself can do all the process.
