St. Xavier's College (Autonomous) Kolkata is one of the best colleges in India with NIRF 7th rank. It has all the required facilities like the beautiful library, well-maintained labs, hostels for both boys and girls, canteen which serves good quality food, clean classrooms, newly inaugurated gym and a ground. It also has a good set of professors well equipped and ready to help you at any time.

When it comes to going further in the field of commerce St. Xavier's Kolkata is the place. It has flexible timings which help a student pursue additional courses like CA, CMA, CS. It has the best professions who are highly educated, knowledgeable and very supportive towards their students. The professors not only teach about the curriculum but also provide you with practical aspects which would help students in their holistic development. The seminars are conducted on a regular basis for the external assessment of the students and the mid-semester and semester exams for the application of the knowledge of the students.

The placement cell of the college creates a platform where students can showcase their talent to the companies. Companies visited in the previous year included Google, Infosys, zomato, ICICI, Asian paints, Delloit and many known companies. More than 650 students were recruited through the placement cell. The average package was Rs 6 lacs PA and the highest package was Rs 21 lacs PA more than 7 companies offered above Rs 10 lacs PA.

Fee submission is every quarter I paid 26,400 in 3 quarters so it sums up to 79,200 and the semester exam fees are 1000 Rs which is taken separately at the time of exam form fill up. And in case of late fee payment, they charge a fine of Rs 100. The college also has a hostel facility which costs 8k/month for 1 seater 7.5k for 2 seaters and 7k for 3 seaters. The college also provides scholarships and fees concession to the lower income group to make educational service available.

The college conducts the best and most attending fest called the Xavotsavv. It's a 3- day extravaganza with many events and 3-4 well-known celebrity performances. The college is located in the heart of the city Park Street which gives the college a more lively feel to it. Fr. Verstraeten Central library of Xavier is the real gem of the college which plays a critical role in the teaching-learning process. It has a rich collection of around 69000 books valuable reference books, journals, e-books, everything that is required. It has large classrooms, a cyber room, a central research facility, a laboratory, an auditorium and a canteen. It also gives equal importance to extracurricular activities and has many societies and NGOs and it is mandatory for a student to be a part of them. It has green wide ground to help you relax from the hassle and bustle.
