Entrance Preview
UPSEAT-2000 Score N/A Rank: 7256. I could not secure good enough rank to get into any top college in state and at that time very few private college were available to opt. So I chose this college randomly but fortunately decision turned out to be good as college was having decent infrastructure and good faculty.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum was very good but there were not many books available in line with curriculum so students from first batch were moslt dependent on classroom teaching and notes provided by faculty.
Internships Opportunities
Very Poor. College had no arrangement for internship of students. Ideally it should have TIE-UP with corporates/ industry to send students for summer training/ internships. But we were left to make our own arrangement for for the same.
Placement Experience
Very poor placement for first batch as college could not invite good companies for interviews. Although 2-3 little known companies had visited campus but no student was placed finally and most of us tried off-campus and got placed with our efforts. But scene has changed and most of the students are placed in campus itself.
College Events
College and students hosted many events including annual fest during our tenure but most of those were for college students/ faculty only. No big or inter-cllege event was celebrated during our time.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees were reasonable at that time but few students who could not get through entrance were asked to pay capitation which was high. Also 10% seats were reserved for NRI/ Management category.
Fees and Financial Aid
College offered scholarship to meritorious student and since I was top ranker in class to got scholarship few times.
Campus Life
Gender ration very poor. Only 7 girls among 60 boys. Moreover 2 migrated to another stream, and 2 failed/dropped so only 3 left in final year. :( College had teams for various sports and used to pay inter-colleges games often.
Hostel Facilities
College was new and construction was going on so students were accommodated in rented apartments which has good amenities. Mess never offered good meal but I guess this problem is faced by almost every college student.
Alumni/Alumna
Not applicable as we were founder batch of College as well as UP Technical University and we missed it badly. There was not senior to advise us on any matter - be it electives, placement, industries etc.
Faculty
Good. College had faculty having teaching experience of IIT, NIT and many other premium institution. Apart from that college also has visiting faculty from industry.
