The best college in Chattisgarh after NIT Raipur. Better placement than other engineering colleges. Quality of education and lab practicals. Good atmosphere. The admission process starts in the last week of September. There were two counselling rounds. For counselling, you have to register to cgdte website and select the college and branch acc. to your choice.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have selected 1. CSE 2. MECHANICAL 3. CIVIL As the priority, while filling the colleges and branch which I want in the cgdte website and I got mechanical branch. The student's teachers ratio is. 24:1, The teacher is well educated. Their minimum education is M.tech and most of the teachers have done PhD.
Placement Experience
The placement of the college is good enough. Students become eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. Companies like Wipro, byjus, HCL, Adani, axis bank, etc come for the offers, The average package is 3.5 lakh per annum, The highest package is 12 lakh per annum, Near about 50-60% of student get placement while some opt for M.tech.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of the college are 80000 per year ( approx ) for all type of students ( gen/obc/ st / sc). There is a very minute difference in fees based on the caste system. The fee includes all kind of fees like lab fees, sports fee, library fees etc. The scholarship is based on income criteria in which whose family income is less than 150000/year will be eligible for the scholarship.
Campus Life
The annual fest of the college is Ojas. It's a huge bit fest. Almost every time books are available in Library of all subjects. Instead of that library have some other kind of books like a novel, mythological books, magazines etc. There are many sports played on the campus like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, tennis and much more There is a various club run by students like Astro club, Vista club, sports club etc.
