Placements and job opportunities are very good the companies that visited our college are as follows: Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro Communications, Infosys, Amdocs, Computer Science Corporation, Verizon, Patni Computers, Hughes Software System, IBM, India.

Every year there used to be a technical festival in which students used to come up with various projects. There was also a cultural festival named MAFFICK. Students from many different colleges of Bhopal used to attend the technical and cultural festival.

Fee structure was a bit expensive. In year 2001 when other REC college's fees was 5000 yearly we used to pay around 30000. That too after scoring under 100 rank out of 2 lakh students. No scholarships were granted by the government to the bright students.

There was only one scholarship scheme by the MP government for those students who had only 1 sibling and whose parents have planned for no other child. It was called a green card and half of the fees of those students was waived off.

Campus life was good there were many sports ground but no sports teacher. We had a NCC batalian there which was very good. Labs were good. Although Computer Science labs didn't have any high end machines. Gender Ratio was around 30-70. 30% girls and 70% boys.

Hostels were average. Mess food was mess. Although the mess was student's co-operative mess but the mess supervisors were corrupt and used to cheat on student's mess funds. Therefore, even after paying a decent amount , students used to get a low quality food.

Senior students were helpful in some sense although 1st year was full of ragging. There was not much guidance from seniors regarding the academics. One has to search his path on his own.

There were two semester exams in an year and 2 mid-semester exams with in each semester the final degree percentage consists 10% weight-age for first 3 years and 100% weight-age for final year exam result. Exams were not very hectic. Mid semester exams were also very flexible. The lab and class timetable was well maintained so that the students can have time to breathe.

The faculties were highly qualified. All were very keen to teach their subjects with full interest. Mr. Lavit Rawtani used to teach Unix and operating systems. He had a very vast knowledge and grasp of his subject. His teaching approach was research based. Mr Rajawat used to teach Theory Of Computation was also very strict while teaching his subject and used to expect to-the-point answers.
