As this was one of the most renowned colleges for hospitality courses, ranked 5th in India at that time. Admission is strictly based on NCHMT JEE Exam and a rank above 2000 in the general category is enough to secure a seat in IHMA.

Bachelor's in hospitality and hotel administration course curriculum is mostly practical based course, it enhances your skill and develops professionalism in you. The faculty to student ratio is decent, yet the point of concern is new faculty enrolling in this institute and thier selection as they are not providing the quality this course demands. Exams are logic and skill bases so it's not that difficult to pass.

3rd semester of this course is based on industrial training, where you get exposed to hospitality industry for 4 months and it is great learning for students and they get a clear picture of the industry. Students work in different departments of hotels, observe and learn from this experience. Stipends differ and depend on the hotel's HR Policy. Approx 2000 per month to 800 per month in Indian hotels.

From 5th sem students are eligible for campus placement. Various hotel chains, food retail, and nonfood retail companies like Accor Group, Oberoi, Mc Donalds, KFC, Tommy Hilfiger, Aditya Birla. Catch various from 4.25 per annum to 1 lakh per annum, an average being 2 lakh per annum. Profile of job varies from Assistant Manager to Supervisor. Almost 80 percent of students enrolling for campus placement get jobs in their hands. I am planning for further studies after this course. This course is about providing services and delighting customers, many employers look for this skill, so it might be possible that students won't get the job of thier dream but won't be unemployed.

In comparison to private colleges of hospitality courses, fees are quite reasonable. Students have to spend about 3.25 lakhs for 3 years for this course. There is a 10, percentage hike in fees every year. Maximum opportunity is provided in campus placement as companies from various sectors like nonfood retail, food retail, hotel chains come for placement, package ranges from 35000 a month to 8000 a month. The average package offered is 15000 a month.

Annual function happening at the end of the academic year is a huge fest organized by institute, it also gives opportunity to students interested in various fields to learn and improve thier skills as it is managed by faculties and executed by students. Farewell and freshers also happen but given less importance, and students are abiding by the ridiculous discipline norms decided by the institute. The library has elaborate sections with various books related to hospitality and management fields. Along with books journals of the student's research project and industrial training, reports are also provided. The classroom is enabled with a projector and screen. No other amenities are provided except for fans. Extracurricular activities and sports are limited to hostel students. Institute won't encourage such clubs and groups.
