Life in GVPCE

This college has a very good environment with friendly faculty. And it has high records of getting on-campus placements in 3rd year. The college is located near Visakhapatnam so the environment is very cool and peaceful. Though it doesn't have very good infrastructure in terms of area the classrooms are special and it has a good ground area. I went through all the counselling process after I got my AP Eamcet results. I got this college in my second counselling. I have heard positive feedback about this college so I have chosen this college.

I have chosen informational purposes technology because it is Just like Computer Science and I didn't get CSE in this college so I have chosen IT. Faculty members are so cool and friendly. So it will be easy to interact with them and get your doubts done. Gvpce have been doing very good projects. This college would definitely be a great choice.

The placements are very good. This year college got around 1200 offers to all the branches of the college for 3rd years. A pre-placement training will be provided. Different topics like aptitude, communication and programming would be taught. Around 70% of students got placed this year. Big MNCs like Amazon, TCS, Cognizant etc are involved. I got placed in Cognizant so I'm planning to join this company after my degree.

No scholarship will be provided if you don't have an income certificate. Fee reimbursement will be provided to those who have income certificate and to those who belong to economically background section. The fee will be around 110000 to A category. And to those who get a scholarship and below 10k rank in eamcet will be 75k.

Social life in this college is very good. There is only one college fest called ekatra in the month of March. There is a library and a digital library with many books and e- generals. You can go to the library from 7 am to 7 pm. Sports and extracurricular activities are also good. But you need to be involved. There will be no pressure on you to participate in those, it's totally your wish. Social groups like NSS, Rotaract club, Cfsr etc. There are some internal college clubs like the personality development club, hearts of humanity etc.

The hostel is very good. Food tastes good. There will be three warden members all are ladies for ladies hostel. One thing is there will be no sick room or something like that when you suddenly get Ill. But warden members can take care of you if you need and they will take you near gvp hospital. The hostel is located inside the college itself so no need of going out. Outings will be provided.
