Remarks
The good aspects of my college are as follows: the teachers here are amazing and supportive and are also very knowledgeable in their field. The faculty here is very great. There are various functions conducted in the college. The attendance requirement is low. Talking about the bad aspects, some of which are listed below: the infrastructure is not up to the mark. No fests are conducted by the college. Now comes the admission process. The admission was online and merit-based. All the forms and fees need to be submitted on the online portal of Patliputra University then the merit list is published.
Course Curriculum Overview
The admission was merit-based so I had no problem in getting admission to this College. I choose B.Com Hons. because I wanted to do banking and being a student of commerce the preference of B.Com Hons will be good according to my knowledge.
Placement Experience
The placement percentage of the college is very low and is around 15%. The highest salary provided is 6 LPA. The placement record of the university has been the highest in all the programmes in recent years. Some of the corporates such as Ericsson India Global Services Pvt. Ltd, General Electric, Renault, Oracle, Volvo, Hexagon, Qualcomm to name a few visit college to render placements to all the graduates. The following Scholarships are available in the college for poor, meritorious and deserving students of different categories. Govt. of India Scheme of Post-matric Scholarship to Scheduled Caste Students. Backward Class Scholarship. Lower Income Group Scheme Scholarship.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of my college are very nominal and affordable. It's just 5,500 per year. The fee for the whole course is around 15,000. Other study materials are also very cheap and affordable. There is some reduction in fees for the weaker section of the society. The reserved category of students also enjoys some benefits.
Campus Life
The campus life is not so good here. There is neither any orientation program nor are any workshops organised. The gender ratio is well distributed to the tune of 40/60 (female/male). There are no societies and clubs for students in the college. So we don't get any exposure. There are very few extracurricular activities.
