Very less internship opportunities

I choose this college because first of all, it is a College of Aligarh Muslim University. The good aspects of this college are that it is a central government University College and has a lush green campus but some negative aspects of college are that practicality for some branches are less if you will not join club etc. to apply your knowledge that you learned from books class etc. The admission process of ZHCET is through an entrance exam which conducted by Aligarh Muslim University itself. This entrance test consists of 150 questions in 3 hours. Entrance test forms are available in March or April but due to covid situation changes so for forms one can regularly visit the website of AMU. Actually, I did not go through any website before going into this college because I am already studying at Aligarh Muslim University.

I choose this course because from starting I have an interest in engineering so this is the reason why I choose engineering as my bachelor's. I'm engineering department from the first year to the fourth year almost 1100 to 1200 students are there and several teachers are around 350 to 400. Now come to qualifications of faculty then I will say that most of the teachers done there masters from IIT and in all departments 50% teachers are PhD and all professor done their PhD from IIT. The teaching method of every teacher is different but overall I will say that in our college teachers have enough knowledge and they deliver it in best possible way. In our college semester system is there and Two-time exams that happen in one semester and I think passing a course is not that difficult in our college.

As I said earlier campus placement is not that good in our college bit after completing engineering from here generally students go for higher studies or can go for preparation of the GATE exam or civil services so basically students prepare for government exams after completing engineering. Some companies also visit for computer science students and the average package is around 4 to 5 LPA and the maximum package was 16LPA by Adobe .my plans after degree to prepare for government exams like PSU, GATE.

Fees of our college are very less as it is a central government University affiliated college so for all four-year fees is around 50 to 55 thousand for nonhostelers and 75 to 80 thousand for hostelers. There is a scholarship provided by the institute or University itself but one can fill scholarship form available by the state or central government. Placement scenario of college is only good for computer and electronics branch and for other branches it is low as compare to these two branches. I did not place it from campus.

The name of the annual fest is ZARF and due to the covid situation, it was canceled for the last two years, and generally, it organizes by students of the college in October and November. Our college has a library which has more than lakhs of books and AMU also has India's biggest library so there is no issue with books. 60 to 70 % classrooms are smart with projector and all and classes are air conditioner also so the infrastructure of classes is good. AMU has its own cricket ground, horse riding club, swimming pool, and much other ground so extra activities can easily any student can do here.
