Remarks
The college has a really good infrastructure which is very environment friendly, it also has a masjid inside the campus. For the admission process, I had to visit the college and submit all the important documents and all of which happened in July. I preferred Muffakham Jah over other colleges as many members of my family were graduated from there and they suggested I join. I checked on websites like collegedunia, siksha, etc while selecting this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I could not get a seat in CSE the next best course which I thought was Information Technology. The faculty in my department is very trained and professional. Most of them are PhD graduates. The assistant faculty is also very helpful and qualified. Mostly the traditional way of teaching i.e., by the blackboard is used and also the projector is used when necessary. The term exams weren't that difficult, if you are a person who concentrates more on studying then it isn't that difficult to pass.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like Infosys, TCS, Amazon, etc. come to take interview. The average package was 3-4L. But the highest package includes an internship offer with a stipend of 60k along with a job offer of nearly 24L. Per year nearly 300 students get placed by campus selection.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is 1.10L per annum. But there are also scholarships provided by the government which should be applied in college. It is quite affordable for middle class families. And for others, there is an availability of scholarship.
Campus Life
The main annual fest conducted by engineering students is the Adsophos fest which usually happens in March. It is one day fest with many games and food stalls which is really fun. We can get all kinds of books in the library related to engineering subjects, books of different authors are available. We have an indoor sports place where we and can play badminton, chess, carrom board, etc and we also have a basketball ground. Few classrooms are a bit old fashioned but they're being renovated and the new classrooms are awesome. There are many clubs run by students like Orators, IEEE, Robocon, etc. Many cool events are conducted by their student bodies and they also recruit students who are interested to work with them by taking the interview.
