Remarks
The reason why I choose this college is that this was the best in which I got selected during the counselling process. Not, only it is the best which I got but also it's a very nice and great college in itself, there are around 60 colleges at IP univ. Which provide a BBA programme as an undergraduate course but the ranking of my college( Jims Rohini) is 4th amongst them which is really great! Also, the faculty is very nice and supportive and everything's great!
Course Curriculum Overview
The BBA programme in which I'm provides a very comprehensive syllabus encompassing subjects like computer application, financial accounting, mpob etc. Also, we have an additional skill enhancement course for improving our communication skills and the name of the subject is itself communication skills. The faculty is very good, nice, supportive, informed, apt, trained and coordinative. Even they try to be and develop a special bond with their students which I think is quite cool!
Internships Opportunities
Yes, it provides internships but I haven't done one coz I'm still in 1st yr. So I can't comment on that but I know it provides and includes it as a part of three year programme for 4th or 5th sem students to take summer internships to train them for future corporate responsibilities. Also, you can do a lot of internships on platforms like Internshala etc which are based on these premises.
Placement Experience
The thing is that I'm only a 1st yr student and have only completed my 1st sem. So I don't think that I can comment on it very accurately. Still to share what I think is. The thing is that there are not many opportunities after doing a BBA degree in our country ( at least I feel that) it's like if 100 people are doing it then 40 are getting employed and then not to mention only 5 would be satisfied with their jobs. So in the middle of all this, I feel my college provides a nice placement as if you're a sincere guy who's serious towards not matter if is mediocre then you can easily get a job of around 4-5 lakhs as a freshie that is not the case with many Institutes and if you're very astute and shrewd then you grab the highest placement which last year was 10 lakhs. To sum it up the placement percentage is not very good even it's bad and if you're great you can grab some real shit and you can also go for off campus placement. I feel this is not because of college but because of the environ
Fees and Financial Aid
So the fee structure for the BBA programme is that the college is a part of IP university Delhi. So, you have to pay both of them to the college and to the university which I think is the case everywhere around the country. The total fee for one academic year is 1.10 lakhs. University will take 40000 as their charges and the college will charge a fee of 70000rs. Also if ur a student from outside Delhi then also calculate your accommodation charges which I can tell will definitely be equivalent at least not less than your academic fee. I don't have a very vivid knowledge about the scholarships and how to get them but I think as much I have researched that there are not many of them for financially stable background students l. There are some for weaker sections though. The job opportunities are good to last year the highest package for BBA was 10 lakhs which I feel is really good!
Campus Life
See the thing is that I'm a first year student. So due to the pandemic situation any of us have not visited the campus yet. So not can tell very clearly about it but the overall interaction through online media will make you realize that it's not about the campus instead it's all about you that how interactive you're that will define your experience and again at every place you'll only get to meet sapiens only. So there will be all sorts of people one's who'll try to rip you off, one's who'll celebrate you and appreciate, one's who'll dwindle between them both but at least it all depends on you! The good thing is that the faculty very support so if unfortunately anything goes wrong you at least have their support. It won't be like you'll be ousted or something The college conducts many of the Cocurricular activities for life enrichment at the campus. There are 5 clubs:- 1) sports 2) cultural 3) academic 4) economic 5) hecktech(coding stuff) I myself am the cr of the sports club.
