For me personally I got 100% scholarship from chancellor sir and started studying BA Hons in Sociology. Generally, the admission procedure starts with submitting security fees,admission fees and one semester fees. In my time, it costs around 90000 at the very first place. Then you will start paying only 30000 per semester from 2nd semester. You might be wondering how much they take for such a general course but I am gonna tell you that you will experience a lot way of difference here. Saying from sociology perspectives, we don't only study theories whole semester, we've got one day per week to visit field/internship to understand more about society. The practical education is maintained here and this attracts me here the most. The faculty members are quite supportive just like our primary teachers even though they all had completed doctoral degrees. As a student, you might also need some enjoyment, that too is provided by the university fest called 'attitude' every year.

I chose this course because I am interested in it. Regarding the student ratio, the university is newly opening an Arts program so right now many students don't notice about the university. However, all of the faculties are highly qualified with Doctoral degrees from different universities across India. The teaching method is quite fascinating. We have 2 sessional exams of 30 marks and 1 final exam of 60 marks external and 40 marks internal every semester. I would say that the difficulty level is upto you coz if you are really interested and focused on your course, you will never bore enough.

Our university provides internships off-campus. As a sociology course, I have been interned at various non-governmental organizations as well as government socio-cultural institutions. We have fieldwork too, in which we get the opportunity to excel more about what society is.

Regarding placement, Assam downtown University is the highest placement-driven university in northeast India. Each year many students are got placed in different places. However, the placement is high in the management department and IT department.

2019 batch fess- 2.5 lakh for the whole course(BA). If we are willing to pay one time then we will only pay 1.5 lakh at the time of admission. This university is providing a lot of scholarships for meritorious students, BPL students, international students, etc

The university has a fest called 'attitude' which is being held every year which conducts almost 3-4 days. Here, the students are showcasing their different talents. At the same time, celebrities are called to perform at the university. I've experienced live performances by Shirley Setia, Darshan Raval, and Mohammad Irfan here at the university. Along with this DJ, performances are also being held. There are different types of clubs too which students can choose their favorite one.
