Remarks
JIMS Rohini is known for its best placements and comes in the top 5 colleges of IPU. Moreover, the crowd and faculty are amazing. Teachers are very experienced and knowledgeable and are ready to help at any point. The infrastructure is very good. The college has 2 canteens, one of its own and Nescafe the other one. It has 2 libraries, with an indoor TT court, some gym equipment, Computer labs, cricket, and basketball playing area. The college is fully air-conditioned with a wifi facility too.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for bba and the course is very good. The faculty teaches every subject so deeply that it clears all the doubts of students, and they are ready to help you at any point in time. They have more than 10+ years of experience and knowledge and teach very well.
Internships Opportunities
College provides Internship opportunities too. I'm a first-year student so haven't got any platform right now to do so but got to know from my seniors that they do offer Internships in 2nd and 3rd year with high incentives and stipend, that helps in gaining experience.
Placement Experience
JIMS provides campus placements and is known best for it. Many companies come for the placements offer in the college giving a considerable amount of package between INR 20000 to INR 2-3 Lacs depending on student to student. Companies are amazon, Flipkart, oyo, etc with positions like HR, Manager, Business Analyst and so on in the BBA field providing abroad opportunities too. It also offers Internship opportunities as well. According to last year data, 93% students got placements in well named and famed companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the BBA course is INR 102000 per year. Altgough the fees is very high because it's a private college and university, but crowd and faculty and infrastructure and everything makes it worth spending the money somehow.
Campus Life
Since the pandemic period is going on, we haven't attended any offline classes. But there are online events and clubs in the college like dance club, academic club, economic club, IT club, cultural club, etc. JIMS is known for its fest events too where many celebrities have come starring from Amitabh Bacchan to the singer Jass Manak. Sports events are also conducted in the college on inter, intra and national levels as well. The library has all the books and students can get them to issue very easily.
