MDIM- A good choice for your MBA

Being it a sister college of MDI Gurgaon, it carries the weight of the brand image that is required in the industry right now, MDIM was my choice for my final stage of studies. MDIM offers us good exposure and good industry connections that we need in this journey compared to other colleges. The admission process is also very easy here. We were called for GDPI and after selection, you get a call for selection.

The marketing department is one of the best of MDIM, the teachers here are very good, very helpful. They are available there for your doubts anytime. The curriculum is also well designed, it gives us a holistic view of every aspect of marketing. Given, MDIM has a trimester system, the studies here are given utmost importance and are very rigorous.

The internship process is also handled by the placement committee. As the internship is an integral part of the course structure, MDIM focuses on getting good companies here too like JLL, Airtel, Jio Creative Labs, JSW, etc. offering good roles and good exposure to the students here.

The placement process is run efficiently by the hardworking members of the placement committee of the college. MDIM being one the top tier 2 colleges of the country attracts lots of brands like SBI, KPMG, Jio Creative Labs, JSW, PWC, etc.

Among the tier 2 colleges, I would say MDIM is the most affordable college with good ROI. The fee structure is divided into trimester vise, you have to give fees at the start of each trimester. MDIM comes in the top category for SBI scholar loans, making the loan procedure an easy process. College also supports loans through vijayalakshmi portal.

MDIM has a large campus consisting of the hostel, academic block, mess, cafeteria, and others. It has a large library consisting of a lot of online sources too. There is a special Bloomberg lab too for the finance enthusiasts and our cafeteria, Angeethi consists of a special place in the heart of every mandevian. The classrooms are well equipped and spacious too. MDIM has a lot of clubs and committees too which gives students more chance of exposure.

The hostels are very good here with single occupancy for every student. The mess is quite big too. Hostel and mess are very well managed by the hostel and mess committee of the college (consisting of the students only, giving them the chance of management beforehand in the college only).

We had 2 processes in the admission process. First was GD where everyone was given a chance to speak on the given topic followed by the discussion and the conclusion. After which we were called one by one for the PI round which consisted of some easy and some tricky questions. The key to crack the process is a strong knowledge of what you have done in your graduation and work and some presence of mind mixed with good knowledge of current affairs.
