Remarks

First of all, it's an IIT, among the top institutes of India. There are experienced professors, amazing facilities on the campus for labs and residence as well. The admission process is the same for all IITs through JEE-Advanced, conducted in May every year prior to covid.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because of the very high scope in it. Faculty, student ratio is around 1:80 All the faculties are PhDian and the teaching method is very impressive. It's easy to pass the term exams for those who study.

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies that offer roles under internship on campus and off-campus as well. I can't mention each name here and as far as the question is of projects, we can do projects under any professor.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to submit the total fees in 2 parts, before the starting of each trimester. The Merit-cum-Means scholarship is provided to bright students of the institute and financial assistance is provided to those students whose family income is less than 500k rupees per annum. There are many job opportunities at the campus and the percentage placement was 100% for CSE branch students in 2020. The stipend is provided to postgraduates or doctorates.

Campus Life

The name of the Annual fest of IITJ is Ignus, techfest is Nimble and other fests are Virasat, Spandan, and Varchas. Approx each book is available in the library. There are many co-curricular activities even in the online mode. There are many clubs such as Programming Club, E-Cell, Literature Society, Legacy Society etc.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

My college life

I choose this college since this is most reputated college in india and IIT is dream of many students in india. I tried to many iits which are better than this but my jee advanced rank made me to come here this is the best affordable college for my rank in the jee advanced 2025 exam. The admission fees after getting admission is 3800 rupees. The cutoff of 2025 for my year is approximately 9000-9400 in all india. Iam proud to being an IITian.
