Remarks
JECRC has a very good reputation inside and outside Rajasthan. It is a great college with good infrastructure and well-developed labs. I took admission in JECRC via REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Program) because I am a resident of Rajasthan, thus I got a scholarship and my fees were also reduced to 3.15 lakhs of the total course. It has a lot of curricular activities like sports, various clubs and a lot of cultural events. Thus after seeing all the pros and cons and comparing it to other colleges I found out that it was the best one for me.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am in the Computer Science branch. It is an evolving branch. I chose it because I was very keen to learn to program. The teachers here are very good and experienced, the curriculum also gets constant updates according to the current requirement of this sector. The faculty here are well qualified and learned. Regular exams are conducted so that every student keeps up with the course.
Placement Experience
The students start getting placement offers from 3rd year itself. Companies like TCL, Wipro, Infosys, and various others take a lot of students. The average package last year was 4.5 lpa and it is improving every year. Most of the students get placed from the campus placement itself. I think that I would also be placed by the campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of study at JECRC depends on the medium of your admission. It is minimum if you take admission via REAP or JEE and maximum if you take admission via Management quota. The fees which you pay if you take admission through REAP is 3.15lakhs for 4 years. There is also financial assistance available if you want as the college has tie-ups with some third-party loan providers.
Campus Life
The campus and the infrastructure are good. The life at the campus is amazing. The condition of the hostel is also good. There good and updated library for reading. Football ground, cricket ground, and various indoor games are also there along with a lot of different hobby clubs.
Other Applied Colleges
SKIT | Btech
I did not go to SKIT because the were only inclined towards academics and no co-curricular activities were appreciated.
