MSIT AT A GLANCE

The admissions procedure is almost the same in every IPU college once you are allotted a seat in the counselling... The college asks you to come for the admission process on provided dates. Further processes are documents verification and fee submit ion. Once the fee is submitted you are provided with a temporary identification card so that you may come to the campus to join classes whenever asked to.

The MSIT offers CSE, IT, ECE, and EE engineering on its campus. Ece has been the third most common choice after CSE and IT To be honest, ECE is the best course as it gives you an opportunity to take whatever field you want to take whether it is core or tech. Also in terms of placements, the college has a huge amount of ECE students placed in many companies in the recent years.

Because of the covid... Classes are taken online so didn't get a hold on many internships in 1st year. Since in 1st year don't know that much about the internship but heard from seniors that college has a huge amount of internship offers for students.

As of right now in the first year since don't have that much information about placements but every year students are placed from MSIT in many companies like Tcl Infosys Adobe etc. Also, the last 2 years have seen the highest package of 26 and 23 lakh or so approximately. The percentage of students getting placed on campus is very good for CSE and IT and CSE. However not that great for EE. Working at an MNC or any company at a dignified post is the main objective for me after getting the degree.

The fees here at MSIT are about 135k which is a lot more for a middle-class family student. The fees have certainly hiked in recent years... In many of the earlier posts, I had read the fee is about 112k or so. But I had to pay 135k as a fee for my session. The Delhi govt and ipu both offer scholarship programmes to deprived and merit list students.

The campus life has not been explored that much because of the rise in covid cases and online classes since I joined. But the students on the campus the seniors and even the faculty are very helpful. MSIT doesn't hold good for sports enthusiasts as it lacks sports administration. Maybe they have a football team don't know that much but as of my experience, campus life is a good type here.

No such test. As of my session, I hadn't gone through any test or interview for the admission procedure. However every year one has to get a merit in IPUCET or jee mains to get into the counseling the seats that offered are used to give admission to students.
