Acharya Prafulla Chandra College is one of the best colleges in West Bengal affiliated to the West Bengal State University [WBSU] | NAAC Accredited A Grade College. Most of the faculties here are PhD holders, they are great teachers as well as excellent mentors. Admission to Acharya Prafulla Chandra college is merit-based (class 12), and fully online due to the COVID-19 situation. Generally, the admission gows live within May-June, but due to the postponed of class 12 examination, the date of Admission of not clear till now, But hopefully as soon as the report card of class 12 will be published, the Admission process will begin. Acharya Prafulla Chandra college provides standard lab facilities, a library with ample resource, a nice campus with a canteen, a garden and a little pond. It has a basketball court and a large playground. In conclusion, I will say that this is a great place to spend 3 years of your life after class 12 where you can grow, learn and have fun as well.

I wanted to learn various coding language and to have a clear knowledge about the data structure, how it works, and its usefulness. So I found that doing B.Sc in Computer Science would be the option for one to pursue if he/she can't go for BTech. We have a good faculty: student ratio of around 1:12 for which they can pay attention to each and every student. Most of the faculties have PhD in their respective fields. In our course, we got lectures, practical, and we made our projects, assignments and viva. Our CGP is calculated on the basis of semester test, practical exam, assignments and viva.

Our college provides a Campus Placement opportunity but not satisfactory (very little). Few companies visit the campus like Wipro, TCS, etc. But the intake is very low. After getting the degree we need to go for off campus drives.

The fees are really low around 2000-3000 INR/ year. The college itself does not offer any kind of Scholarship, but you can always have any kind of government scholarship out there. If you need any help from the college side, the college is always there for help.

Life at Acharya Praffulla Chandra college is great, beyond study we have various Students Clubs which helps us to nourish our culture. Here at Acharya Prafulla Chandra College, we give great importance to our health so we encourage young students who have the potential to do great in the field of sports.
