Remarks
My primary reason was that I reside in Vadodara and this is the best MBA college in this city. The good thing is the name and fame of this college, especially ROI. The bad aspect would be infrastructure not upto the mark. Admission process is through CMAT only 240marks(GIA) & 200marks(SFI). The college has its own website along with Facebook and Instagram channels for required information.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum has quite 8 subjects starting from the first sem and also the semesters to come and faculty members are informative and have thorough knowledge about their respective subjects. There may have been some fluctuations in the tentative exam schedule but overall exams were conducted online only due to covid situation with moderate difficulty level.
Internships Opportunities
ICICI Bank has offered the highest no. of internship opportunities with a duration of 8 weeks and a stipend of Rs.16000. The profile is sales and marketing. The process is first registration, then aptitude, and the psychometric test is taken which is followed by PI by HR and the names of selected candidates are declared. Similar goes with other companies like Vibgyor, Sbi, etc.
Placement Experience
The placements upto last year were with an avg. package of Rs.5.5L/yr. But this year not many companies appeared and many students did not get placed who may have plans for off-campus placements. Last year's highest placement offer was Rs. 10.2L. The main campus recruiter is ICICI Bank in both internship as well as placement
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are Rs.13000 for GIA and Rs.34000 for SFI. The scholarship is not much required because of being a govt. university and campus placements were considerably less this year as compared to previous ones due to Covid's situation.
Campus Life
There are many events taking place all along the year but this time only online possible events are taking place. The college has a library which has almost all req. reading material. There is MSF which consists of Prez., Secretary and Treasurer. It also has various other communities like sports, placement, etc.
