Remarks

In the list of Top B-Schools of India. Located in Pune where most of the IT companies are present. The admission process includes giving SNAP exam after which shortlisted students have to face the WAT-GD-PI process. Business Analytics comes under the top 10 analytics programs of the country. Snap exam is conducted in December and January. The PI is conducted in February.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Business Analytics course is designed by Industry Experts who work in the Analytics domain. The course has a strong foundation of python and R as programming languages. The visualization tools like tableau are also taught in the course. The faculty includes both permanent and visiting faculties. The teaching method includes lab sessions and classroom sessions. The course also has core MBA subjects along with Analytics subjects.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for 2 years for MBA BA is approximately 16 lacs. The fees include both hostel and mess charges. The fees are slightly increased every year. The fees are slightly on the higher side but the investment is worth it.

Campus Life

The annual fest of the college is NEEV. The classrooms are well equipped with Wi-Fi. The auditorium has a capacity of 300 people and is air-conditioned. The college has a sports arena to play basketball, cricket, table tennis etc. There is a swimming pool also in the college. The Library has more than 24000 books and access to various databases.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel has all the facilities as it is a residential course. The rooms are 3 person sharing. The rooms include an attached bathroom and laundry and cleaning services are provided. The mess provides 3 meals per day.

GD topics include current affair topics mostly. The WAT topic is random. The PI is around 20 mins. The preparation of GD can be done by reading news daily like The Hindu, Live Mint etc. This will sail anyone through the GD.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. Sneak Peak into the life of SCMHRDIANS!

Any person is eligible who is completed his/her graduation from some well known university and having grad percenetage above 50(for general) and above 45 (for st/sc). The application form is available at the time of applying for the Snap exam else seperately from the college or university portal it could be filled. In Symbiosis International University, they have the reseravtion provision for Kashmiri Migrants, ST, SC, OBC, PWD. They are benefitted in the order of seat reservation. For Kashmiri Migrants 2 seats, SC 15%, ST 7.5% and PWD 3% of the total seats are reserved.
