A college without any civil faculty.

There used to be ragging of juniors in our time while we were in first year so this was a very bad experience our batch initiated the efforts to stop this inhuman practice you cant really complain about any teacher if he is not teaching properly if by any chance you did, nothing will happen to that teacher for sure, but you have to loose your internal marks and may also failed in internal examinations.

I gave MP-PET. scored 81 marks on it. the time i was about to join, it had good faculties of civil engineering and was the second oldest college having civil branch after JEC. but over the course of time , each of faculty flew away.

'Outdated' is the word i will start with! the content of course needs refinement. we have practical for almost all the subjects except a few, but no one really teaches about practical concepts. assessment of practical knowledge was simply based on expertise of theoretical marks we are gaining. No practical whatsoever was given!

No sort of any assistance on internships a student is all on his own for the internship. no stipend is given for a person who is just undergoing graduation.

On whole 4th year only one company came offering for package of 3 lpa ctc for marketing profile of some cement i do not remember precisely only 2 were selected out of 60 so yes we can conclude there are negligible chances of any sort of placement from HCET.

I dont remember celebrating any event in college , let alone 15 august and engineers day. after first year even no efforts were placed to celebrate engineers day either. so no any such events that i can remember took place during my period there.no any technical or cultural events. nothing we got here.

Fee is comparatively less to other private colleges of the city this is the only good thing of this particular college trust me for this you have to compromise with your scores and faculties there is general trend of giving less marks to the students here in hitkarini.

Particularly from college you do not get any loan facility however you can approach personally to private banks for loans or even government banks.

For civil branches, out of strength of 60, 4 girls were there. for branches like IT and CS , the ration was almost 50-50. no extracurricular activities are entertained by college. i cant really comment if they are good or bad because there were none. trust me i don't have content to write 250 characters in here.

There were no hostels for the boys at my time. there were few for girls, i am not sure because it was shared among hitkarini architecture and dental colleges as well. i don't seem to remember the technical details, because boys can not really get in to girls hostel right.

No any such efforts at all till date from the college to conduct any alumni networks no one really cares, i think the college is counting its last date before closure.

It semester wise pattern. two exams annually before those main theory exams we have external viva and before that there are things like mid semester which are conducted by college who barely any one attends. there is no tension of attendance as well i have seen people not coming to college for whole semester and still gave exam, so this can be a positive point for few of the readers.

By the time we were in thrid year all our super seniors who are just passed out from the same college started to appear. there was a reason for them coming to back to college. they could not get fetch any job outside on their own with this degree , and college could not afford a salary more than 20000 for a professor, so the current passed out students became bingo combination, and here we were ruining our future.
