Remarks
I found some aspects to good in my college that it is very big, its staff is very caring taking and the food available for us here is very good and the bad aspects that I found here are that there are students in huge ratio, sometimes student behaves rudely and too many assignments are given to us. The admission process is like students have to go to Chitkara International School for getting admissions in offline mode and if anyone wants to do online admission then he/she can get admission through the official Chitkara website and all the process of admissions start near June and July of a year. The reason for preferring this college is that I heard some good reviews of this college from my friends.
Course Curriculum Overview
The reason for choosing this is due to my interest in this course. There are up to around 1:40 ratio of faculty and students where faculty members are less in number and students are greater in number. The faculty members of this college are PhD Holders and have a great teaching method. There is time to time exams and there is no difficulty to pass the exam if the student has studied to pass the examination.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There are many popular companies that visited this college like Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Wipro, Vitrusa, Infosys, Cognizant, etc and there are many offers made by these companies among the students for their jobs. The highest package is up to 32 Lakhs and the average package is up to 3-4 Lakhs made per companies and profiles offered. There is 100% of students getting placements. My plan after getting the degree is to earn some experience by doing a job and then start a good business to live a secured life.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees get hiked 5% per year always and the cost of study per semester is Rs 82,000. There are no scholarships and financial assistance provided by the college but it provides jobs that can get on campus with a stipend.
Campus Life
The name of the annual fest & tech fest is Rangrezz & Hackathon and Codathon respectively. These fests are conducted nearly in October every year. Yes, are almost the availability of every books & journal in the library of this college. The amenities that are available in every classroom are ventilated A/C's, fans, projectors, tube lights and curtains. There are many types of sports available in this college like football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, cricket, etc and extracurricular activities like acting, debate competition, dance competition, vocational subjects like languages, etc. There are many websites that are run by students for students, social groups & clubs like ACM, C2S2 , IEEE, Custody, Dhvani & Bits and bytes and many more.
