Remarks
I got to know from my few friends that IBS Gurgaon has a very good placement rate and I think in the end every student is looking for a good placement so that's why I chose this college. I also checked on the internet and read some reviews about the college as well so overall I was quite impressed by the kind of learning they offer and the faculty of this college is really helpful and supportive. I could not appear for the IBSAT entrance IBS so I was given admission on the basis of my CAT score followed by GD and PI at the Hyderabad campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had enrolled for the PGPM course at IBS Gurgaon. It is a two full-time course. This a full-fledged management course that prepares the students to gain the required knowledge and skills to become future leaders. The class size is nearly 550+ students. IBS Gurgaon has really knowledgeable and well-experienced faculty. The faculty is very helpful and supportive and they are ready to help the students even after college hours. The teachers at IBS help the students in choosing the subjects, SIP guidance, and even industry guidance. The exams are absolutely based on the practical and industrial knowledge gained by the students and the exams have case studies to solve.
Internships Opportunities
IBS Gurgaon takes full responsibility to provide internship opportunities to the students. The internship rate is 100% and The college also provides on-campus and off-campus opportunities to the students. Those who opt for off-campus have to submit the offer letter or any mail from their companies side. Students get opportunities in all the management fields like HR, Finance, and marketing and students are free to opt for their preference domain. Some of the internships are paid and majorly are unpaid.
Placement Experience
The placement rate of the college is near about 92% and the college tries its level best to get all the student's place. In total, nearly 150+ companies visit the campus every year. The top 10 recruiters at IBS Gurgaon are HDFC Bank, Deloitte Tax Services, Evalueserve, Ernst & Young, ICICI Securities, MyGate, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, BlackRock Services, IDFC First Bank, Cians Analytics, and HCL Technologies. The average package is 6.51L.
Fees and Financial Aid
As such, there is no fee hike system at IBS Gurgaon. The fee at IBS Gurgaon is 7,21,000 and apart from this 10,000 refundable caution has to be paid which is returned after completion of the course and an 80,000 admission fee is a must that needs to be paid in the beginning. The college provides ample scholarship opportunities every semester to the students who perform well in the final exams. If the student excels and performs really well in the SIP then also a cheque of 10,000 is given to the student. So I personally feel that there are ample scholarship opportunities at IBS Gurgaon.
Campus Life
As a student, I really enjoyed my life at the IBS Gurgaon campus. The college is so lively and the management is very active in conducting fests, competitions, sports activities and much more for the students to keep them fresh and active. The college has a very big and spacious library with access to more than 4500+ books and journals. The classrooms are web and wifi equipped and the campus has good internet connectivity as well. The students run various Facebook and Instagram pages like the official IBS Gurgaon page, various cell pages like The Samvaad cell page.
Interview Experience
After the CAT score was evaluated then I had to go to IBS Hyderabad for the GD and PI rounds. The GD was conducted in a professional manner and there were in total 10 students present for the GD. The topic was given by the moderator and there was in total a panel of 3 teachers to evaluate the GD. Students were given enough time to speak their points and after the GD was conducted I was called again for the PI. The PI began by introducing myself followed by some questions on current affairs. So I think it is very important for the students to be aware of the surroundings.
