Remarks
I got admitted to this college by anna university counselling in the year of 2017. After the final allotment order I was given one week of time to confirm my admission in the college. I was referred to this college by one of the best educational advisor.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose ECE as my parents suggested it. There are total of 120 students per year in our department. These 120 students are divided into two class of 60 members each. So the student : faculty ratio is 60 : 1. where as in lab session it is 30 : 2 or 30 : 1. All the professors pay a keen attention to each and every students and teach to their best.
Internships Opportunities
Right after our 2nd semester we get our internship. The internships are provide by various companies in and around Chennai and other parts of India. Some of the internship are paid one while some are non paid one. They have tied up with many corporate companies.
Placement Experience
They provide excellent placement training. The students get their placements from fifth semester. Some get placed in their 5th semester. Most of the students get placed in their 7th semester. the minimum package is 3.5 LPA and maximum package as of now is 21 LPA. Almost 97% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees varies depends upon the student admission. If they got admitted through counselling the tuition fees is 55000 and for management admission it is 85000. Bus fees and hostel fees depend upon the student. The college provides scholarship to the merit students depending upon their mark.
Campus Life
The annual fest named Takshashila is conducted every year in the month of February or march. Apart from annual fest each and every department hold their own symposium in the month of September. They give importance to sports and provide a lots of facilities for their sports life. There many social groups such as Tamil literature, book reading club, dance , music and etc. which are managed by students.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is within the college campus. They provide study table and chair, cupboard with safety locks, washing machine for laundry purpose and have a small gym inside the hostel. They provide a nutritious food as per the authentic taste which is suitable for both Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh students.
