Remarks

Admission process includes giving SNAP exam. The Snap exam is conducted in January and December. After that the GD/PI/WAT is conducted. SCMHRD is one of the top B-Schools of India. The Business Analytics program comes under top 10 analytics programs of the country.

The reason for choosing the course was that the course includes a good proportion of both business and analytics subjects. The faculty incudes both visiting and permanent faculties. The visiting faculties are from industry who work in Analytics domain.

Yes the college provides internship to every student. The summer placements are 100 percent. There are live project opportunities also provided by the college. Good companies from every sector visit for internship.

Placements are hundred percent achieved by the college. The good companies like Brillio, Ecolab, Tech Mahindra, Cisco, Boston Scientific etc visit the campus. Average package is around 15.97 lakhs per annum.

The annual tech fest is NEEV. The college has sports facilities like basketball, gym, cricket , table tennis etc. There is swimming pool also. There are various different committees that conduct various events.

Boys hostel is around 900 m from the college. The rooms are 3 person sharing. The rooms have attached bathroom. There are cleaning and laundry services available. The meal quality is normal . The meal is provided 3 times.

Group Discussion includes topics from recent news and other general topics. The Personal Interview includes basic questions on work experience and on other areas student has written on the form. Preparation can be done by reading current news and about other general topics before the rounds.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. Sneak Peak into the life of SCMHRDIANS!

Any person is eligible who is completed his/her graduation from some well known university and having grad percenetage above 50(for general) and above 45 (for st/sc). The application form is available at the time of applying for the Snap exam else seperately from the college or university portal it could be filled. In Symbiosis International University, they have the reseravtion provision for Kashmiri Migrants, ST, SC, OBC, PWD. They are benefitted in the order of seat reservation. For Kashmiri Migrants 2 seats, SC 15%, ST 7.5% and PWD 3% of the total seats are reserved.
