Remarks

College is last time when one can enjoy child in self without thinking of society inside precincts of university. Hindu collegr offers great atmosphere for that and to grow into a good human being

Entrance Preview

AIEEE, AIPMT, AIIMS. I chose Hindu College because it offers disciplined academic guidance by experienced faculty, liberal atmosphere in college campus and intelligent classmates from all over country.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is not much focused on research but faculty motivates students to question knowledge given in books as well as to venture outside curriculum to develop skills for future in all fields. I studied Physics in honours course along with mathematics, chemistry and English and computer science. I took applied Chemistry as elected subject.

Internships Opportunities

College does not offer internships but faculty does motivates and recommends students to take up projects with senior faculty of University of delhi who teach postgraduate and mentor doctorate students

Placement Experience

3

College offers placement opportunities in renowned firms like Unilever, Infosys, McKinsey and Company, Kaylee capital with packages ranging from 2.5 to 10 lakh per annum. Most of students wish to go for higher and are also motivated to do so but companies can give job offers to abt 30 % of all students if dey wish to take them.

College Events

4.5

College offers fests for all departments which are open to all colleges of Delhi university. Then there are dance competitions, theatre competitions open for all colleges. Mecca is biggest annual fest organized in Hindu College huge attended by students of Delhi University.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a govt. College of Central University, Fees is within reach of all sections of society. In my time it was around Rs. 4000 per annum. Now it has been revised after semester system has been introduced. I believe it would be around Rs 10000 per semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

Hindu College, Delhi is providing various scholarships to the students who are meritorious and in need of financial help.Namely, Premvati Raghubir Singh Scholarships, R.B. Ram Kishan Dass Scholarship, S.P. Raina Memorial Scholarship etc.

Campus Life

3.5

Gender ratio is quite balanced in college though it is skewed in favor of men in courses like maths and physics. Each course students hold fresher and farewell parties inside and outside college every year. Students of all races are welcomed. It has liberal atmosphere on campus and ppl of all sexual orientations are accepted.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facilities are good. College has hostel for boys and a new hostel for girls. Rentals are kept low and hostel is provided as per merit of students. Rooms are allotted on twin sharing basis. Hostel services and ambiance have improved a lot after common wealth games were organized in Delhi University in 2010

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni is connected to students though fests and social media and provides guidance to students.Seniors guide in all aspects ranging from tackling exams to getting around delhi and making a successful career.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is not very hectic. Semester system I feel has made structure better than earlier and students can focus on subjects thoroughly. Exams are taken at mid as well as at end of semester. Students get time to relax, visit great hangouts that Delhi has to offer.

Faculty

3

Faculty is highly experienced and friendly in spite of their age. They accept fallacies in academic system of university and motivate students to venture outside textbooks to acquire knowledge of science and also skills for future in varied fields from civil service to banking.

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges, and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...
