Remarks
Positive - placements are very good as more than 90% of the students get placed every year. A lot of company come to the campus for placements.Negitive - count of students are very large.Every year more than 1000 students take admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is good. They goes on improving curriculum evey year. The subjects are balanced every semester.Exams went through the semester. There are 3 sessional tests each of 40 marks taken in a semester out of which best 2 of 3 taken in consideration.And final exams of 60 marks are taken.
Placement Experience
The best part of the college is placements. A lot of companies come to campus for placements.There are about 90% plus students placed every year. The companies provide internship. The stipend varies around rs 20000.
College Events
Lots of events happens in our college some of college level some of national level -Explore fest - it's a big event that occurs every year. A lot of games was there to play.Algorithm - it's a events thats happens in chitkara hp campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's little bit expensive. As the semester fees of academic is rs 80000. Normal people cannot afford it. But due to good placements after getting placement its worth to pay fees. Hostel fees is fine its about rs 50000.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship as off i know are not given. But as i know sc,bc will get some scholarship if they are toppers of the college.Loan is provided by the college as my roommate give their academics fees through loan.
Campus Life
Lot of extracurricular activities just went through the semester. And mainly for the DL (duty leave) mostly students take parts in events, because qs you know no one want to attend the classes.There are varius labs - chemistry lab, physics lab, electrical lab.Sports - cricket tournaments take taple every year and not even only students staff also takes part.
Hostel Facilities
Yes i opted hostel faculty. The infrastructure is very good even when i went our hostel is newly build. Wardens are very helpful. Caretakers are there on every floors. And we have to approve gatepass on leaving the hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they are helpful and frank in talking. We can get their numbers through college and can contact to them. And mainly we contact through linkedin. Everyone accept the connection request and the give the sufficient details of what we ask.
Admission
The short listing was done on basis of jee mains marks and also you have minimum 60 percent in 12th. Then on decreasing jee mains students are called and given the remaining seats. As i have sufficient marks i get my required field that is computer science and engineering.
Faculty
Faculty of the college was very cooperative. Like if we miss some class the give students extra time to cover it up. The best part is that every class is provided with the mentor if any students have any problem even if of hostel they can contact to their mentors which are ever ready to help.
