Remarks

Teachers always available to help and guide students is the best part I have noticed and experienced in this College. Attendance policy is now slowly getting better and stricter which is a good thing for all.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is as per the Mumbai University as the college is affiliated to them. The course curriculum broadly focuses on Accountancy, Economics and the Skills and Knowledge required in a Professional Environment. Subjects included Cost, Finance and Management Accountancy, Direct and Indirect Tax, EVS, Business Communication, Foundation Course, Commerce, Advertising and Export Marketing around the 3 year course structure giving an overall knowledge in all of these subjects theoretically. The exams were twice a year which concluded to a total of 6 Semesters. The exams were for 100 marks each subject including objective, subjective and explanatory questions except for Foundation Course. Foundation Course had 25 marks Practical Project to be submitted in a Group or Individual and 75 marks theory paper in the Semester.

Placement Experience

4.5

There is a Special Placement Cell called as Pathmakers who put their efforts to bring in as much as possible placement opportunities in the College. The College does not provide internship for students for any on Campus job, however Placement Cell does guide students about any internship offers available.

College Events

There are two major College Festivals celebrated in the College. Risers which is an Intra College Festival which encourages students to express their talent through different competitions based on art, dance, music, gaming and another skillful games. Crescendo which is an Inter College Festival which encourages students from various Colleges to express their talent through different competitions based on art, dance, music, gaming and another skillful games. In the end of this Festival, there is a DJ event for the College Students to celebrate. Except for these two festivals, the College celebrates, Hindi Day, Gujarati Day, Yoga Day, Traditional Day, Teacher's Day, etc. There are also different events related to guidance on topics like Management, Finance, Personality Development and Economics held by various responsible departments of the College. Industry Experts are invited to guide in these events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure has a mixed feedback from some people fibding it expensive to some finding it expensive. According to me it's a balance because the fee structure isas per the facilities provided. However, the ones who don't use every facility like Gym, Library and Gymkhana, find it expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

The College does not provide any good amount of Scholarship but they do connect such students with another institution who provide any loans or scholarship. There are various financial institutions who help with such facilities to students on minimal interest rates, the college guides those students how to avail suxh facilities.

Campus Life

3.5

There are various extracurricular activities like Seminar, Quiz, Competitions and a few special days celebrated. There are two Libraries, one Gym, one Gymkhana and ground for the practice. They all are very well maintained especially the library. Responsible teachers for sports encourage and help the sports students alot so they can participate in various State and National level competition as per their calibre.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is strong between the teachers and the past students. Alumnus are approached for various events where they can guide the new students or the events where they are required. They are very helpful and are mostly up for the help.

Admission

I first took my admission in this college for Jr. College in Commerce Stream. The process for admission was online and offline as well. However I chose the offline option and I got my admission in the First List itself due to Merit. Henceforth, for every year the admission was done just by filling a form and paying the required fees. Normally students are required to attach True Copies/ Self Attested copies of their marksheets to be attached with the form as per the academic year. An ID proof of the student is a must for verification.

Faculty

5

The Faculty is excellent in their respective field. Students being unable to attend lectures due to some serious issues are also invited for clearing their doubts or concepts. BlackBoards and PowerPoint Presentations are used occasionally for a better understanding. Faculty is great including the Library Staff, Administration Staff and the Cleaning Staff.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.
