Remarks
I preferred SGSITS because I was getting the branch I needed, also the placement opportunities were very exciting. The campus is good. The Alums of the college have made histories in various Hackathons and Competitions. Also, Hostel and mess facilities were there which was a plus point. I preferred to QUORA for searching the rank list of various Institute and to know about their plus points.
Course Curriculum Overview
Today Technology is leading the world, so I always wanted to be in IT sector to contribute to our nations growth. So when I got Information Technology in SGSITS I was happy. Before finalizing the seat in SGSITS, I found that the faculties in IT branch of SGSITS are quite appealing. They are into creating new new innovation even being a teacher, many of them have a good long teaching career. The curriculum of CS and IT branch was almost same which acted as a plus point for me. Although the examination of IT is comparatively easy to that of CS.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, I opted for internships. I was hired in a software company Broadcast.co as Frontend Developer. It was 3 months long internship. I worked on various projects of clients.
Placement Experience
The placement and jobs of SGSITS are very good. There are various companies which come to our college. The highest package offered is 22 Lakhs. It was offered to 8 students for 3 consecutive years.
College Events
The cultural Fest is called AYYAM. It happens every year. There are good number of books available in our library. Also there is special section for Reserved class in library. In classroom there are projectors and boards. There are proper benches and desk. The college also have various students clubs to help students involve in various student activities.
Campus Life
The campus is small but welcome constructed. Have gardens, a huge library of 3 floors even along with computers, ground. Also there are various labs with all equipment required. The college also have various clubs to help students involve in various student activities.
Hostel Facilities
No,I don't opt for girls hostel of SGSITS as the food of mess in girls hostel is of poor quality.Also the water availability is not 24*7. I live in a PG at lantern Square. My rent is 2800 and food is costing extra 1500 to me.
