Remarks

I got a seat under SNQ Quota in this college which reduced my fee to INR 25,000, That means, my entire CET fees of 50,000 got reimbursed. So I took an opportunity and joined the college. Other than that, the campus was really pretty.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I chose ECE because I was passionate about it. Student Faculty ratio is around 300:2. Some of the faculties are well qualified and have deep knowledge about the subject they are dealing with, but its quite opposite for a couple of faculties. Teaching methods are quite innovative, and we used to have 3 internal tests in 1 semester, Lab internals, and mock tests just to prepare us well for the final exam. The exam was quite easy to pass considering the University is really vast and they cannot set an extremely difficult question paper once for all.

Placement Experience

1

All mass recruiters like TCS and Mindtree are the compulsory during the interview season. But, the college demands 5,000 Rs per company you are placed in and refuses to give your original markscards back if you don't pay the sum. So, it is better to attend a off-campus drives and get a job outside.

College Events

To be honest, there are no such thing as clubs in this college. As I said, campus is serene but you're looked down upon if you were seen anywhere in campus in class hours. There are libraries in each department. There's a study section and borrow section. Borrowing books are hassle-free except in the time of exams or internals.Classroom infrastructure is neither too good and nor too bad. One can manage to complete a semester in those classrooms. The college conducts an annual fest "SAMBHRAMA", which is not that good to be honest. There's a beautiful auditorium which is huge, but can't contain all the 3000 students at once.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year, student gets around INR 18000 as scholarship from the government. More like a reimbruisement for the fee one has paid. There's no special scholarship offered by the college.

Campus Life

2.5

The most important and grand event that happens is the inter-college sports fest. They have a good badminton court and basketball court, vast playground. Campus is really big. There's no wi-fi facility in the campus for students, although they charge INR 1000 a year along with your tuiton fee. A digital library is present where there is a LAN connection and anyone is free to work there. But most of the computers are broken there. Lab equipments are good but they only save hem for the external lab exams and you probably have to work with an old instrument all sem.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
