Remarks
Good aspects are brand name, placements, one of the best sports facilities, better infrastructure than other colleges and most importantly the education system and methods are great. For bad aspects, Nirma University needs to improve its online portals. For all the simple tasks students have to visit different platforms that is annoying and creates confusion.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculties are well qualified and knowledgeable. Also the way of teaching is very interesting. All the theory parts are explained with real life examples. Most interesting part of the curriculum is the interactive case study discussions. Almost all the case studies are from Howard Business Review. Daily news are generally exampled in the class sessions to understand the theory part.
Internships Opportunities
Most of the internships are with nil stipend in Nirma University. But this situation came after the pandemic. Most of the students are placed startups for year 2021. Although students were placed with good names in the industry but at the end moment because of global pandemic, their internship have been revoked.
Placement Experience
After pandemic, placements affected very badly. The average annual package came down. But still there are opportunities which can be availed by students. Some of the first year students faced revoking of internship because of this they have to find new internships on urgently basis.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is worth the money invested and lesser than other MBA colleges. But Nirma lacks in providing the stipend for summer internships. Most of the summer internships are with nil stipend which down the moral of students. But students are capable enough to find good internships by off campus process.
Campus Life
Campus life is awesome in Nirma University. There are more than 22 clubs and committees in which student can enroll. Other than that campus have updated library. Sports complex is also well maintained with all the sports equipment.
Hostel Facilities
Quality of food is best in Nirma university. Menu is also rotating so one will never be bored with same food every week. Rooms in hostels are well spaced along with the balcony. The toilets and bathrooms are also cleaned and well maintained.
Interview Experience
Nirma have PI session and extempore round for selection. My topic for extempore round was Coach. In interview panel there are generally 3-4 faculties of Nirma. And questions asked in interview are related to applicant's CV.
