Remarks
This college is among the reputed college of North East with thousands of students trying to seek admission here which makes it unique in its nature. I attended the college both physically and virtually. The campus is located in the heart of Guwahati city, Pan bazaar. It is convenient for students to use public transport and reach the college at a minimum cost. The best part about the college is the less pressure of classes for the students. Course Curriculum Overview
This course is practical as well as theoretical with a bunch of young Professors and one of the emerging courses in the near future. The university conducts mid-semester examination and ends sem exams every six months. The teaching method is excellent.
Placement Experience
Since I'm a newcomer to this university I don't have much idea about placements but at the same time, the department organizes various opportunities for its students to meet reputed media houses which is great on its own.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees include a total of 7500+16000 at the time of admission and 16000 for every semester. Since this a self-financing course it includes various opportunities. It's affordable and very cost-effective for every parent who wants to engage their child in this course.
Campus Life
Since the pandemic is on but then I find myself at least have the opportunity to attend a period of 2 months of physical classes. The department organized a picnic, a grand Saraswati puja. We have regular webinars and lastly, we had the opportunity to have a conversation with Vidya Balan on one of her movies on women's day.
