Remarks
This college provides the duel degree, and this name itself is a brand. There are only 2 IIMs which provides the duel degree, in those two colleges, Rohtak's NIRF raking is lower than that of IIM indore but this college gives us the BBA+MBA degree and in indore we get BA+MBA degree. In IIMR we can even change our college after 3 years with taking our BBA degree, we cannot do the same in indore.
Course Curriculum Overview
In IIMR, course curriculum is actually good, here we have subjects from ever stream. Eg - psychology, Accounts, and integration altogether. Here we have been divided into three sections, section A&B have same teachers, and section C teachers are different. Criteria of qualification of faculty in IIM R, is that they must be doing PHd or already havr done Phd. It's a course of 5 years and in each year we have 3 terms, and in each term we have 7 subjects, so yes we can say it's pretty difficult. Also, here we have relative grading, and if scored 3D,2F,2D 1F, they have full rights to TERMINATE us from college. And in each term there are two exams mid terms and end terms, our final grades are decided on the basis of 5 things, Mid term marks, end term marks, daily quiz grade, class participation, 2 projects( in each subject we have to do atleast 2 projects).It's no extremely difficult to pass but it is extremelly difficult to score A or B grade ( above than average).
Placement Experience
As students enter in last year, they become eligible for campus placements. I don't have knowledge about how many companies come to college and how many profiles they offered. My plans after degree, I will take the placement, and I'll to devote my self to the corporate world, so that I can earn money and help my family.
College Events
I am from a 2020 batch, that's why i don't have any experience about campus life but as i have asked from seniors, they said college life is awesome. There are alot of clubs in IIMR( around 15-20),and biggest cultural fest is INFUSION.
Campus Life
Total campus area of IIM R is of 200 acres, IIM have one of the best infrastructures, there are different hostels for girls and boys of IPM, MBA, FPM. IIM also provides various sports facilities like football, basketball, volleyball, cricket, table tennis etc. College also provides us free WiFi. In IIMR, size of library is pretty big as compare to average colleges, it also provides us virtual library, from there we can access our books online, we just have to download it and read it.
Hostel Facilities
Opting hostel is a necessity is IIM. 2 students will be given the same room and roommates are decided by their roll numbers. Hostel food is not so good but it's eatable( according to seniors).There are messes hostels in IIM, veg and non veg, we can choose by ourselves in which mess will prefer. In nonveg they daily provide 1 egg in breakfast. In registration first they take our medical report ( to check if we have any disease), they even asked us about our chest X-ray report.
