Remarks

I chose this college because it's in the top 5 of GGSIPU. Its location attracts me. Good aspects: Low student-faculty ratio, Adequate financial aid, Well planned curriculum, Interesting Club activities and extracurriculars, Well-equipped labs. Bad aspects: I can't find them yet. The admission process & dates: JEE Main and in addition to this must-have filled Ipucet form and on the basis of merit and rank one can get admission. Usually, the Ipucet form released around March. I prefer this college because I saw placement on the official website which attracts me and ofcourse its location. While selecting this college I Quora about this college reviews from youtube and ofcourse official site.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because I am interested in computer science since the 11th class and also I would have more opportunities in future. The faculty: student ratio is as per AICTE, in each shift every subject faculty teaches to 60 batch class. About 95% of faculty have done a PhD or pursuing a PhD. The teaching method is also good, they motivate us and rejuvenate our mind to focus on our goal and quite supportive in doing the assignment. Whether it is midterm or end term exams, all schedule is according to GGSIPU and held according to its rule and regulation. If you have attended classes then it would be enough to pass the exam and if you want to score good marks then follow what the faculty are saying.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The internship started in the 3rd year in our college. Most of the students are getting company located in Bengaluru and students to go there and complete their interns. Some are startups and some are product based company like Microsoft after completing an internship some get PPO. Most students got an internship on the basis of DSA and some got on the basis of Projects they have made.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement of our college is good. Students started applying for an internship in their 3rd year and in their 4th year some get PPO and other students started applying for campus placements. Most of the companies visit every year including service based and product based both like Infosys, TCS, HCL, Wipro, Paytm, Swiggy, Zomato, Amazon, Oracle, Direct-I etc. Approximate 80% of students get placed in these companies. The average package offered is 3.5-4 LPA by the service-based company and the highest package is 30-32 LPA by companies like Amazon. My plan after getting a degree is to get placed in a product based company like Amazon.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is 84,900/year which includes University charges as well. There are so many opportunities to come if you want to apply for the scholarship, like merit-cum financial assistance scholarship, scholarship schemes belonging to the minority category etc. You can apply from the district website if you want to apply for it.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is good. There are so many clubs and societies like Prisma for inculcating a spirit of creativity, GTBIT Finishing school for communication skills, MUNistry to make students aware of the very recent style of group discussion and debate, Divine Circle, Ashke Bhangra, IIPC, Hello World, Developer Student Club, Et-Cetera. GATES -Annual Fest of GTBIT which is organised in March, thousands of students from various colleges of North India gather at GTBIT and compete in various technical, managerial and literary to showcase their talents. The library has a well-equipped library with a collection of more than 60,000 books. It has a specialised collection of books, journals and other resources. Classrooms are well built with good furniture and equipped with AC.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
