My College Life at ANITS

It's one of the top 2 colleges in Visakhapatnam. The faculty is good and infrastructure is above average but it is far away from the Visakhapatnam city. The admission process is in 2 ways either through APEAMCET or through Management quota. I have read more information regarding this college from Google. The bad aspects of this college are the non-teaching staff. They are more annoying. The faculty are decent enough for teaching. All most of them are either ongoing PhD or already PhD persued candidates. Ground availability is also good. Activities like NCC NSS are available at this college. The college has a bus facility but the college is too far from Vizag city it's approximately 30 km away from the city.

I choose the Mechanical stream as I was very much interested in it and I want to prepare for the engineering services exam. So I have preferred mechanical engineering which makes me easier to prepare for other competitive examinations also. For every 15 students, there is a faculty so I am pretty much happy to say these. Faculty were well qualified most of the faculty were PhD candidates and the rest of them were pursuing their PhDs. The teaching method is both oral and digital platform-based. The examinations are pretty decent enough for the standard of engineering. For every semester there will be 2 mid examinations and end semester examinations. Also, there are practical or lab examinations. The level of difficulty to pass the examination is not that much difficult.

Students are eligible for campus placements from 3-2 semester. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra were approached to the campus. Average campus packages are around 3-4 lakhs per annum. The minimum percentage of students to get eligible for campus placements are around 7.5-8.0. My plans for after engineering is to try GATE or to plan for higher studies and prepare for the engineering service examination.

Yeah, the fee structure is quite decent I can say because most of the students get scholarships these days and top 10k rank candidates are 100% fee exempted in APEAMCET. Also, there is a fee structure based on the caste system followed by the AP government. Job opportunities are also pretty good every year over 750+ students were being placed in reputed companies and more information on off-campus jobs are also provided in the college.so I am pretty happy to join this college.

The campus is well spaced and has good ventilation. The college has good ground facilities also.NCC and NSS activities are also well encouraged in the college. Fests are conducted in a year for every branch and ANNUAL DAY is celebrated every year. Books and journals are available in huge number. The college has a pretty big library. The classroom is both digital and oral-based. Social and welfare clubs are organised on the campus and off-campus also.

Yeah, Hostel and Accommodation is available and it's very nearer to the college. The hostel area is very ventilated and the room is very hygenic. Rooms consist of an attached bathroom and also additional common bathrooms are available. The hostel mess is above average amd the menu is healthy.

Yeah, the college is under UGC and affiliated under ANDHRA UNIVERSITY. It follows the pattern followed by the AP government that is admissions were through APEAMCET examination conducted once a year. Also, admissions through Management were allowed but in very few quantities.
