AIEEE 2005 - Rank 41257. Opted for B.Tech - Biotech as it was an emerging field. Had many options for BVP Pune - Scored 800 rank, and selected for B.Tech -IT, options through Haryana CEET with state rank of 190, having many options in Haryana top colleges with various streams in Computer Science, Mechanical.

Course was moreover directed on Biotechnology and its related sciences. Some basic course in introduction to bachelor in technology like Engineering drawing was missing. Curriculum was practically designed with lot of practical courses involving Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, IT .

T&P cell, provide internships, but both of my internships was arranged on my own, as the seats were limited. There was no stipend for our industry.

Placements and job opportunities for our batch was ample. Near about 30 % of the students were having 3-4 job offers, but all of them was in IT industry. Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Accenture were major recruiters. Average package was around 4 - 4.2 lpa, with highest package of around 10 lacs.

Technical fests, robotics fests, cultural fests known as JIVE was organized on large scale, with many of the colleges in NCR acrively participate in technical, sports and cultural events. Management fest was also organized with quizes etc. University also organize Ghazal night once a year.

Fee structure was reasonable at our time. Only donation of around rs 45000 per year was , that pinched. Tuition fees was reasonable with 65000/ annum and same is the hostel fees. which was reasonable good with the security wise and facility wise. Gynamsim, activity centre, swimming pool, centrally air conditioned hostels, wifi, LAN.

Loan facility was available that was arranged by college. Scholarships was not that easily available. but some students, who were brilliant availaed some types of scholarships.

Campus life was the best part of the college life. It was near about equal gender ratio with healthy environment. Extracurricular activities were organized from time to time and students actively participated in it. Girls from DU north campus performed in cultural fests, and major celebrities like KK, sonu nigam and famous bands giving their performances.

It was far better than other colleges at that time. Food was good, but as a student, we were not interested in that food, as college location was a major factor, having variety of cuisines available in nearby areas. Rooms were twin sharing with 10 rooms in every wing sharing 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms with 24 hours hot and cold water and having shower facility.

No, we were having back to back classes for first 3 years, last year was bit light as major project was involved. Every semester, we were having exams after every 45 days i.e thrice every sem. Labs were regular part, consisting of 30 - 40% of our total course.

Moreover experienced faculty from reputed universities across the globe who has given university global recognition with their research and patents from the university. On the practical side, friends who chose to be in biotechnology line and went for further studies like M.S for foreign universities, recommendation letter from faculties were accepted because of their recognition in their field.
