Remarks
I wanted to opt for IBS Gurgaon because it has quite good feedback from some of my friends and then I also checked only about the college and saw positive results. And one of my friend who had done PGPM from here also got a great placement and she also shared that how the college is supportive in the placement process conducted at the campus. The final admission process was conducted at Hyderabad campus. After the competitive exams scores I was called by the IBS and they informed that I have to be there at the Hyderabad campus for my Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. The admission process is quite simple and easy. The admission form payment can be done online and offline both. The PI and GD rounds were conducted in a very professional manner.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course of PGPM is of two years and it was a full time course. 75% Attendance is mandatory in IBS and the college is really strict about the attendance. The faculty of the college gives full support to the students in every way whether it is about providing study material or placement guidance or industry guidance. The faculty of IBS not only holds hood educational experience but also has quite good industry experience as well. The faculty is highly qualified. The exams are not really difficult to pass as they are based on the knowledge gained in the class only.
Internships Opportunities
Yes the college offers internship opportunities to every student. The record has been nearly 100% only . IBS Gurgaon gives an option of both on campus and off campus internship. The students are free to opt for off campus internships as well. I also chose the off campus internship since I had a good contact in a company which provided me a hood opportunity in marketing.
Placement Experience
The placement record of IBS Gurgaon is quite good. It holds a placement record of nearly 90% . The average package is around 6-6.5 Lakhs. The companies that visit IBS Gurgaon are a mix of both startups and MNCs. Nearly 150+ companies visit IBS Gurgaon every year and the college tries its level best to get each and every student placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
As far the fees is concerned firstly the student has to pay 80000 admission fee followed by the semester fee. There are 5 instalments of 1,44,000 which has to be paid within 2 years and there is 10000 security deposit as well which has to submitted during the first instalment and it is refundable. The security is refunded once the student completes the course of 2 years. Students who perform well in the final exams are given scholarship amount as well varying as per the graded of the student.
Campus Life
The campus life of IBS Gurgaon is a mix of box academics and extra curricular activities. The college is quite strict about the assignment and presentation deadlines but the same time to keep the students active it keeps on conducting various activities for the students. There are various cells in college that conduct these activities from time to time.
Interview Experience
Yes there was GD and PI rounds conducted at the Hyderabad campus. There were 10-12 students present in the GD. After the GF the PO round was conducted and in total there were 2 faculty members present who took the interview. I was asked very generic questions and some questions related to current news. The PI began by introducing myself followed by 5-6 questions in total. In order to prepare for these two round I referred some YouTube tutorials and I also kept myself updated with the news .
