Paid Internship for whole batch of 600 students

One of the top B-schools of India with esteemed alumni. Given the high number of students, the placement record is really good, with 100% placement. For someone seeking specialization in finance MBA (fin) is a really good option. High placement in BFSI roles with packages average CTC 18 LPA. The admission process is easier in comparison to others. Being a private institute student without a quota(GEM) has a better chance of getting in. NMAT gives 3 chances to attempt in the same academic year. Interview rounds take place in Feb and in mid-March one can expect the final result. Getting the merit list early helps in decision making.

One class typically has 55-65 students. A mandatory Harvard module provided early in the course helps students without commerce background catch up to classmates. Faculty are experienced and interactive class with updated case study enhance the learning. There is a schedule of courses prescribed before the start of the trimester and is followed; 9/10 times the course runs accordingly.

Projects are available throughout the academic year with a stipend ranging from 10K to 30K generally. Average internship during pandemic might have been 1 to 0.75 Lacs but all students get paid internships and in a batch of 600 student results should speak for themselves.

Summer placement assistance was provided and even in pandemic packages were up to 1.75 Lacs. Almost, all students(600 batch size) had paid for summer internships. Final placements are at par with the best B-Schools of India with Highest CTC touching 38-40LPA. Average CTC is 18 LPA.

Ample opportunity is provided throughout the academic year apart from a summer internship to students. Students can grab up to 3, sometimes more paid corporate projects. No fee hike was observed during my stint at NMIMS. The course can be financed without collateral due to the reputation of the college but is one of the expensive courses in India. Fee for two year of course is 20,82,000 INR. Cost of living/hostel/PG in Mumbai is separate.

There are committees that include placement, finance, marketing, operation, HR, IT, etc. Apart from these, there are interest-based clubs for dancing, singing, acting, modeling, photography, etc. Library available online which can be connected anytime, access to important portals like Euromonitor, Statista etc.

Written test NMAT is a test of speed and has no negative marking. Students can avail almost 3 attempts in NMAT. There was a case discussion round, followed by an interview round in front of a panel of 3 interviewers.
