Good college from every expect

After I attempted my JEE exam I wasn't certain that I would be landing up in any of the IIT's and NIT. I got some good government colleges but they were not providing me with the Computer Science Branch which I wanted. So I sat in the UPSEE exam. I belong to Uttar Pradesh so I was eligible to write the exam. I secured a decent rank and I ended up getting Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida. There were some other choices but I opted for this college because the placement records of this college are outstanding. Our college stands at Number 19 in India concerning Private College's Ranking conducted by India Today Network, in terms of Placement. The faculty is well experienced and are very supportive. The biggest attraction for me was the Student Council of G.C.E.T. under which there are about 18 Clubs that seeks to enhance and provide a platform for students to showcase their skills regularly. Apart from the various club events which happen monthly.

All the teachers here are well qualified and knowledgeable. They all are very helpful, and the overall teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is good, and it's regularly updated as it is affiliated with AKTU. The course curriculum is very good. The overall approach of the curriculum and teachers is to make students industry-ready so that they can perform exceptionally well in the real world.

Placements here are pretty good. Almost all the students in CS and IT branches get placed. The highest salary package offered is around 12-15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA. Top recruiters here are TCS, Wipro, Bharti Airtel, Infosys. In our course, i.e, B.Tech in CS, you will get to learn about programming and all that usual stuff, but the plus points here are that various workshops, seminars are organised for the complete development and learning of students. Getting internships is not a difficult task here as it's the NCR region, and you will get plenty of opportunities. Non-IT companies also come for the recruitment and they also give a good average package. The highest package has been provided by Samsung and Amazon.

The annual tution fee is a little bit high as it is a private college. They also provide a scholarship facility through up scholarship. They guide us and help their best to get a scholarship. The fees structure in this college is pretty well not so high INR 1,09,603 per annum in this also you get the scholarship which is very good for us. And yes in this college provide you with campus jobs and the placement is also good the average package is 3.5 lacs.

The campus life of my college is surely amongst the best reasons why one should join it. It has a big, spacious campus with a lot of greenery spread. The crowd is good as most of them have qualified for an exam to be here and they are usually very friendly. Talking of extracurricular activities, the College has a separate club for every branch where the teachers along with students come together and organise various events almost every month and throughout the year. Apart from this, we have a Student Council of Galgotias College which has about 18 Clubs underneath it. There are clubs for every skill and talent one could have and they provide you with the platform to showcase your talent on a big level not only on our campus but also in various places. Each club conducts its own event now and then and there's a great exposure for every student to perform and make his name renowned in the College.

Galgotias hostel is also good. There are 3 types of rooms which you have to choose accordingly you want. 1) 4 seater cost 90k 2) 3 seater cost 95k 3) 2 seater cost 1 lac includes all the hostel facilities like mess, laundry, transport etc., Mess is also good as compared to other and the food is quite good.
