Remarks

Honestly, It was not the right choice that i have made. One thing that I like about this college is it’s faculty. The quality of faculty available at IBS Mumbai is pretty amazing and talented. I prefer this college over others because of its ROI only, provided , its placements partners are good. That’s what I believed. Apparently, this has been turning out exactly opposite which is quite a disappointment for me. That’d be all from my side.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well , the teaching pattern is worth praising here. The course is divided into 4 semesters, wherein after 1st year students can make a selection of their specialization and choose subjects as per their will. It further offers students to choose specialization in combinations such as major in one domain and minor in other. Overall faculty is nice except a few.

Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Marketing research, sales, operations, BFSI , etc are few sectors available for students to pursue their internships. For the internship, many companies don’t provide stipends since students are the one who requires knowledge and expertise on internship field. However, a few companies offer stipend ranging from 3000-10000.

Placement Experience

From 2nd semester onwards, students are eligible for campus placements. Average placements are offered between 650000-700000. Companies like EY, jp morgan, pwc, etc come for placements drive and 80% of students do get placed there. Since, the strengths are very high, placement has huge competition.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure at IBS : It charges approximately 8,00,000 for the overall course. Scholarship Policy : If you come in top 10%, then the college is supposed to refund some percentage of the amount under the head of the scholarship to those top 10% based on scoring.

Campus Life

We haven't get the chance yet to visit our campus due to the current pandemic. Hence, we are operating through online mode only. Although, we somehow managed to develop our social life over zoom calls.

Interview Experience

3.5

Yes I had appeared for the personal interview only as there was covid surge going on. Hence, the lockdown was prevailing across the country. So online interview system was there only. I basically read about the college and its USPs before appearing for PI followed by my personal interests and personal details.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

There were sessions for GD, PI and other guidance. There was GD round after that PI was taken , I gave ibsat and got total of 92% as a result of all the process.
