An Underrated Gem Of Colleges

The Heritage Academy is one of the most reputed and prestigious colleges in West Bengal. It's run and managed by the Kalyan Bharti Group and it shares the same campus with Heritage Institute Of Technology. The main highlight of this college is it's unmatched infrastructure. Situated at the heart of WB, this college attracts many with its beautiful campus. There's plenty of space for the students to chill and have some time off studies. THA is affiliated under MAKAUT thus adding more credibility to it's certificates.

I am pursuing BBA through the heritage academy and I chose this course over bcom to learn more about managing a business firm and to have some idea about the market structure. THA offers a very detailed and student friendly course for BBA which I'm sure will help us in the future. The Faculty is nice and supportive. I've never witnessed someone going off bounds or behaving unprofessionally infact, they help the students as much as they can. Faculty consists of well qualified personals. Exams are held in a well structured manner and we faced no issue while giving our papers.

Students become eligible for campus placements in the last semester. Many companies visit the college for the campus placement process including biggies like Amazon, TCS, etc. The percentage of placements depends on the students. The students who opt for these placements often gets selected but many students like me opt for higher studies or prepare for competitive exams like CAT.

As per the campus, courses, faculty and the services provided, the fees is fairly reasonable. The college has a separate department dedicated to internships, campus placements, scholarship and more and they assist the students to their fullest.

This college hosts some of the biggest fests in the state. We stay pumped for these fests and some students help in the preparation and organizing process. College library is one of the biggest in Kolkata only library known to me in the state which is bigger than this is the state Library. Extra curricular activities are frequent in the college so that students have their overall development. There are many clubs too which are run by the students themselves like the entrepreneurship club.

There was a zoom meeting held for the interview process in view of this covid-19 pandemic and the principal, head mistress and some teachers were present in the meeting. It was more like a general discussion and they asked questions related to past academics.
