Remarks
The teachers and the internal department is not at all serious about the college and since it is a government college, most of the people working get paid without any work. The funding provided to the college is also not sufficient or if given, is not put to a good use.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum matches with the other engineering colleges and according to me it suits the requirement of students. In a given semester which is of 6 months, exams will be conducted thrice( two midsems and one endsem ). Practical exams are held before the endsem followed by viva.
Placement Experience
We do have a placement cell but no students get placed at the end of their courses. Job opportunities are minimum as the students do not have any industrial exposure. All they know is theory which is not the demand of current employers. No, we do not have any internship programs.
College Events
In an academic year one cultural fest and one technical fest is arranged for the students. But, they are so poorly funded that even a birthday party seems more interesting.Cultural events take place mostly in a big hall which usually ends in about a couple of hours later.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Per academic year the fees is around 47000 rupees including 5000 caution money which is refundable after your course ends.Students also get the option to pay their respected fees in two installments semester wise.
Fees and Financial Aid
All those who belong to minority communities get a fee waiver and they do not have to pay any academic fees. But they have to pay the hostel fee. But in order to avail this scholarship the students need to maintain atleast 75 percent attendance otherwise they are not eligible for this scholarship.
Campus Life
Labs are very good as compared to other government colleges and also the staff at the labs is supportive.Sports department is also good but we only have a big ground where all the sports activities take place.
Hostel Facilities
No I live in a PG near my college, I pay around 3200Rs for the rent amd around 6000 for the food. The hostelers need to pay around 7000 rupees per year as rent and additionally 1500 rs for food. The hostel is provided with all the basic amenities.
Alumni/Alumna
As per my knowledge there is no alumni network. But the seniors are supportive and some of them tend to help the juniors out. But, in the hostels the scene is just opposite. Seniors dominate juniors and gets their work done without any support.
Admission
In order to be eligible for the admission process you need to have a valid JEE main score. Now, once the MP counselling forms are out you need to select this college as a choice, and also the students need to choose their branches in a perticular order with the most preferred choice at the top. Then, once the counselling gets over and the college declares that you've got admission in a perticular department chosen, you need to go to the college and pay your semester fee.And finally, when your documents are verified by the college, you get admission in the college with your preferred branch.
Faculty
Faculty is not permanent and they do not even know basic English. All they care about is attendence and completely ignore the syllabus and rhe current needs of the students. The skill level of teachers do not match to those who are the facilities of reputated colleges.
