Remarks
Our college is government college,the fee is reasonable,the faculty is also veey good,we get good clinical exposure of no of cases in ggh kakinada,we have to pay extra monthly mess bill and other hostel maintainance fees for who want to stay in hostel,the food quality is not so good,have to adjust little bit,the admission proccess is according to ranks that we get in neet,we attend the counselling and on the given dates we have come and join and submit our certificates, government college is best compared to private medical colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mbbs is surely a very long course, its for 4 and half years from first year to final year part 2,2 nd year is lenghty its one nd half year,each year 3 internals will be conducted,followed by one final exam,we have to pass to go to next year,after this there will 1 year internship compulsory,in our college the class strength is 200,from each department adequate no of proffesors are present (2:3 ratio),the teachers are qualified,its not too difficult to pass the exams,final year and second yearis somewhat difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Internship that is house surgeon ship is compulsory for one year after completing final year part 2,stipend is approximately 18,000 per month given for those who work in same college,if we shift to other college,we have to pay extra fees and stipend not given
Placement Experience
After completing the course,we may join and work in private hospitals,or work at phcs but mostly we prepare for neet pg to do md/ ms where we get a specialisation
College Events
We will have annual culturals and college day,which has all types of activities and annual sports day and intermedics each year, between different colleges,we have nice big playground of different courts,auditorium and 2 libraries,medical books are available
Fee Structure And Facilities
Tution fees will be : 12,000 per annum,extra mess bill for hostelers included around 3000 per month, scholarship is there by state gvt to below poverty line students,stipend is given in internship around 18000
Hostel Facilities
Each room given for 2 students,meal quality is average,menu is different for each day repeated each week,mess bill and accommodation are included,each month around 3000,if we go home,mess bill is reduced
Admission
Written test for admission is neet only,mcq based,for 720 marks, According to rank,follllowed by counselling, college is alloted,no gd / interviews there
