Remarks
Pro : This is MPs top state College. It actually considered at par to NIT, Bhopal in some facilities. College is autonomous and really focus on academics. Cons : Few department are strict than needed. People don't know about college outside MP. Reason for preferring it : good job opportunities and MP top state college
Course Curriculum Overview
There are many courses offered from BE to ME to B Pharma and M Pharma.In BE there are multiple branches like CSE, IT, EC,EE, EI, ME, BM, CE Few classes ratio is 1:120 and for other it's 1:60.Faculty are mostly SGSITS passed alumni teaching as temporary or permanent. Labs are well equipped. Examination are scheduled well in advance and are moderately easy to pass. One night study you cannot pass.
Internships Opportunities
There are few companies coming to on campus for internship for CSE and IT branch. At most 10-15 people get it. Others have to look for opportunities themselves. Or take help of alumni of college. They really help in getting internship
Placement Experience
6th sem campus placement starts. There are mass recruiting companies like Infosys wipro. There are big MNCs like Goldman Sachs Delloite which hire 5-6 people. It's on your capabilities and luck if you get selected for 22lpa CTC or 3.5 lpa CTC. 60% people get placed. I got off campus placement offer from a banking MNC.
College Events
There is annual fest organised every year. Apart from that there are clubs for different activities in college like ojaswa, ecell, pratibhimb etc. They organise events monthly. There is lot of exposure coming from there. Central library is there. Academic books are available to issue 5 at a time for one month of time. Classrooms have projector. Campus has sports facilities for badminton, volleyball, cricket, football. There are 2 cafeteria. College is located in centre of indore City. So everything is just a walk away from campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's a government autonomous college. Fees is hiked every year for 2015 batch it was ~240000. There are tution fee waiver seats reserved for addmission in all branches. Apart from this ST/SC government bears the tution fees on maintaining 75% attendance in class. Placements are good compared to other colleges under RGPV as alumni connection is strong. Big companies like Goldman Sachs, Delloite, Asian Paints, Vedanta come on on campus placements.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is 3 people living in one room. Bed table chair cupboard is provided. Mess was weekly menu for breakfast lunch and dinner. There is limited availability of seats in hostel and is allocated based on rank. If not there are many pg near college
