Entrance Preview
I have written anna university entrance examination. But i directly visited the college and since i liked it and is near to my home i preferred to join there.
Course Curriculum Overview
we use to have choice to choose our electives. Our staffs used to discuss the electives and choose accordingly. Out of the electives anna university provides for every semester staffs discuss the subject better for students and choose them accordingly.
Internships Opportunities
When we were studying we didn't have much exposure on internship. But i know some of them have come to different companies in bangalore this year for internship out of few i have met them recently. so i hope they provide internship now.
Placement Experience
Our batch was the first batch after recession so placements started mostly from our batch. They arranged us many companies and also supported us to attend other off campus interviews in nearby colleges. I have been selected after in 2010 in an off campus in chennai.
College Events
Technical symposiums are the best events where we get to show our department unity regardless of which year the students are. All 4 years students of same department would be working together towards the success of the symposium to show which department has done it better. It starts right from naming the symposium till making some models.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure was more or less same as that of Anna university. When i joined anna university fees structures was 32500 and i paid 40000 per year. Not sure of the fees structure now.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't taken loan so i'm not aware about the loan facility they offer in the college. Some of my friends have got scholarship from government.
Campus Life
Campus life depends on how good friends we get and yes i was blessed in that. And they also support lots of extracurricular activities. Different competitions keeps happening like sports, dance, quiz and people are also awarded based on it. Also they motivate people by yogas too.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes my seniors were been much helpful. They were been invited back to our college after they joined work to explain us about the real life industry experience.
Exam Structure
Exams would be frequent like cycle test every weeks, followed by revision exams and model exams. Yes it was hectic but was all done in a motivation to make most pass percentage. Have to clear most of them else there would also be retests. Labs would be the best time for us to explore and was not hectic.
Faculty
Some faculties i must say are the best over the college. Not only our department staffs are more helping we are also free to move forward to other department staffs to clarify all our question. Non-department papers have always been my interest like EECS, Mechanical & Maths papers.
