I had two options VIT Chennai (Metallurgy) and RECM (Civil). Both the colleges were relatively new. VITC high fees and other expenses made me chose RECM. Moreover I had an inclination towards Civil. Admission are on basis of JEE Mains Score. Under rank of 75-80k one can easily land in this college. No GD or PI's are conducted for admission. I messed up my JEE Mains and BITS entrance so had no chance for NIT's and BITS. At our times admission were on basis of UPSEE ranks. Student's can get admission in this college by aktu counseling process. First when the counseling start students will fill their details, name, previous marksheet, and jee mains rank and roll no. When students fill the form after some choice filling portal will open, students will fill the choice filling form accordingly. After some time they can get the details of which college they took and in which branch. After that they have option to freeze the available option or flote for another college which they want but you need to fill fee 20000 which will be considered in those academic fee when they go for physical reporting time. They will submit all the required documents in physical form also they will submit the hostel and academic fee which required Eligibility required 12th pass and jee mains rank. Eligibility is 12th pass, By giving jee mains, first, you have to be lying under the cut-off in jee mains and counseling through AKTU. Once you get college in AKTU counseling you should have to be given 20000 for confirmation of seat. Admission after giving IIT jee mains entrance exam, And then counseling on aktu website, counseling is the same as jossa counseling but very cheap, only 1000 be submitted while counseling. after confirming college u have to pay 20000 for confirmation of seat. reservation available ( also home state quota available) much better and easy admission process....Read More

I prepared for jee but couldn't get good marks. So I tried to admit in aktu because it's government University which have good prestigious college. And my elder brother was also completed his graduation from aktu. So I choosed this university and rec mainpuri is quite close with mathura. This made me to choose this college....Read More
