Placements are Good.

I took Admission in July, 2017. The Admission process was easy. It had a duration of 4 days, in which you can report and Register yourself. Roll numbers are alloted as first come first serve. No Alphabetic Order. I took EEE in NIT JAMSHEDPUR over other choices because it has a better placement exposure and hostels are good.I took help from Collegepravesh website, when i was comparing colleges.

Placement scenario is good. It is because of the various technical teams here, which give you ample of opportunities to learn new things very related to your branch, and these are the only things here which will make you feel like engineering.Infrastructure: Infrastructure of Main college is not good. But the Hostels here are very Good and well managed with single rooms, T. V. TT, lifts, high-speed LAN, hygienity. We have Mega Mess, which is very cool, hygiene and most importantly the food is very good ( except a few days). We have Night Canteen, We have one main canteen whose interior is very much like the canteens you'll be expecting after watching canteens of college in movies. But food is okay. Although, it is very cheap. Faculty: Faculty members of EEE, see not to expect anything from them. Yes they are qualified and knowledgeable but don't have that thing, which a student get his/her motivation for studying. First of all they don't look like professors at all. But this is usual in every college.Other: Fests and extracurricular activities are the two things which are heart and soul of NIT JAMSHEDPUR. These are on another level of Extravaganza like nowhere, filled with celebrities and opportunities. Make sure to Participate and Don't just Sleep in Hostel room, because these things make the memorable days when you pass out

In 3rd year, companies visit for Internship opportunities although they are very less.In 4rth year, there are ample of IT firms, Analytics Firms visit our institute and there is ample of scope for placements in IT domain. EE and ECE are allowed in almost every IT companies. Mechanic, Civil, metallurgy and PI are allowed to sit in limited IT companies, Although there are a lot of IT companies for every branch.Start preparing for IT domain from 2nd year itself and you'll definitely get Placement with flying colours irrespective of your branch. More than 90% students get Placed till the end, the rest either are not eligible or not interested to take part in the placement process.

For General/OBC Students having parental income more than 5 lakhs, tuition fees is Rs. 62500.For General/OBC students having parental income between 1 lakh to 5 lakhs, there is a fee remission of two third of tuition fees, i.e. you'll get back two third of tuition fees.For rest of the students, there is a full remission of tuition fees. i.e. you'll get full tuition fees back.

Hostels are very hygienic and very good with single room for everyone. These have lifts, TT tables, mini Gym, Night Canteens, Hostel is mandatory with mega mess which is also compulsory for everyone. No day scholars.
