My review about JSSATEN

To get admission in Jssate Noida, you have get decent rank in UPSEE entrance exam.My admission daye was 07/08/2016. Then you have to go in any college affiliated to AKTU for document verification Best part of Jssate Noida is its location. Students can explore a lot for both fun and academic point of view. It is situated in sector 62 which is industrial area and many private firms are located in this area. Also there are coaching institutes for GATE and I.E.S. Every year people can visit for auto expo which is held nearby. Students can also go to various industrial visits.Cons- Only theoretical aspect is taught in good manner. From my experience i can say that practical aspect is not that good and students have to explore themselves to get any industrial knowledge by going through internships and training Overall it's on the student how he or she utilizes his time in college years.

Course curriculum is very theoretical eccentric and not up to date. Students have to be involved in extracurricular activities to gain knowledge for current scenarios in technology. From academic point of view college is decentm Coarse is very much related to GATE due to which students can get benefited for govt examinationsFaculties are helpful too but student have to be very extroverted and active to avail maximum benefits from college and its facilities

Students have to get letter of recommendation from college for internships but thay have to find internship from there own contacts. College doesn't help in this. I did my internship in Tata Marcopolo Private Limited. My project was jigs and fixtures used in manufacturing of buses. Its design was done in Autocad.Then in the assembly line it was welded and connected.

Students become eligible from 7th semesters to sit in placement. Placement is grear for CSE and IT students. But for other branches it is very poor and students have to either go for post graduation or sit in off campus interviews. Companies that visit campus are Chronos, Zia semiconductor, BYJUS, Extramarks, JAVU, Cognizant, Timex etc Highest package was 15 lakh per annum offered by Chronos. Total about 20% of students were placed.

There are annual fests. Technical fest is called Zealicon and is held in March. Sports fest is called Mythri and is held in September. Jssate library is very nice. It contains books which is related to both academic Coarse curriculum and also related to upcoming technology. Library has multiple computer systems in which students can access various journals and published articles. It is very helpful im final year projectClassrooms are non AC due to which it is hard to attend classes during summer months. College have proper teams in various sports and take part in many contests and competitions like zonals and inter AKTU. But faculties are very rude in this case and doesn't grant students leave in this case. ALSO students have to pay from there own pocket to travel to contest in these competitions. Seniors are very helpful in this case

Fee structure can be considered cheap if we compare to other colleges. Total fees for engineering is around 4,50,000 including all semesters. For hostel, fees is around 90,000 per year. Students can get scholarship every year depending upon their castes from U.P. govt.Campus selection is only good for branches like CSE,IT etc. For core branches like Mechanical,Civil amd electrical, campus placement can be considered bad. But this is also due to fact that opportunity is less compared to software fields

Hostel has 3 seater room. It is both AC and NOn AC. But boys hostel is very small and only accomodate about 30% of total students. Other students have find private hostels and PGs which are situated in near by to college Girls hostel can accommodate all the girls. There are various hostels like Sansriti avass which can accommodate about 600 students. Food quality is nice as compared to other colleges i have heard. Also rooms sanitation facility is very great. Hostel is very clean

Yes, you have get decent rank in UPSEE which is entrance examination conducted by AKTU.For CSE you have to get under 10K rank. Coarse for this test is PCM of 11th and 12th standard.Students can get decent rank if they study NCERT properly. It is not that tough compared to JEE
