It has a good academic record(getting chancellor award for last 5 successive years), Good ranked college among all AKTU colleges. Excellent Infrastructure. Being in Delhi-NCR Region. was getting Fee Waiver seat.I took the admission through UPSEE counselling.I got a Rank of 5590 in this exam,so I got Fee waiver seat.I was advised by my Seniors, by my councellor too.(considering my Rank in this exam as well as in other exams)
Course Curriculum Overview
Computer Science Courses were and are high in demand(due to job prospects), so I also chose this course(IT being similar to CSE).College has about 40:1 (student: teacher ratio).Most of the College faculty are helpful in nature. but most of them just focus on rattafication method.
Internships Opportunities
Some students do intership from 2nd year itself.T&P officialy provides internship opportunities for 3rd year students.Some students have also bagged internship offer from big companies like OYO, DLT, etc.
Placement Experience
Some students do intership from 2nd year itself.T&P officialy provides internship opportunities for 3rd year students.Campus Placements starts from 7th semester.Many students have bagged packages upto 12-13 lpa from companies such as Gainsight, Josh Technology, etc.Many big MNCs like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, etc are mass recruiters. In 2020 itself(global recession), they have recruited more than 100 graduates, with CTC around 4-4.5 lpa.(they had recruited for different roles, therefore had offered variable CTC, for e.g, TCS had recruited 10-15 students for 8lpa for digital profile, and others at 3.5 lpa for ninja profile).More than 95% students from CSE and IT branch have got at least one offer.
College Events
No Cultural fest in the college though for the last 5-6 years. But Many small functions like Freshers Party, Farewell party are held every year(*obviously). College Infrastructure is excellent. and sport facilities are available for most of the games.
Fee Structure And Facilities
College has about Rs.130000 tuition fee per annum.I got fee waiver seat. so I had to pay about Rs 22000 per year.Most of the students apply for government scholarships.There are many technical societies like BRL, SI, etc. which helps enhancing skills.Placement process is good in the college. i didn't participated in the placement process(preparing for other exams).
Hostel Facilities
3 types of hostel accomodation are offered(single, double, triple seator).Triple for Rs.100000 per annum, Double seator for Rs.110000 and single seator for Rs.120000 per annum.Registration process is simple.no shortage of Rooms.Food quality is above average.(in terms of hygeine: 9/10).Many students also live in PGs located in the vicinity of college.(rent being around Rs 7000-8000 per month, incl food).
Admission
I took the admission through UPSEE exam.(its a written exam similar to JEE Mains) Subjects in the exam were Physics, Chemistry, Maths.But for now I think JEE mains Score is used for getting the admission in AKTU Colleges.
